Laura 🐹 I second what Ratqueen said :) because of online gaming, I've been playing more games with people outside my household! And with the internet, you can play with people/friends/family miles away! It's pretty great. Ratqueen and I play on Tuesday (today) evenings and YES ya'll should join us for Telestrations :D With my partner, I played a competitive head-to-head game called Legend of the Five Rings Which has really pretty art! It's a bit long though (since we both suck) so it can be hard to play (and it makes me nervous playing a super high competitive game like that). But we've always been playing a cooperative game to make me not want to kill him: Lord of the Rings the Card Game boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/77423/lord-rings-card-gameI like the LotR theme and it's tricky like a puzzle to solve. I find it lots of fun :)

Also, Arie, if you want to play TTS with me sometime, let me know! I can accommodate European-friendly hours, too (I think you're in Europe?) Ooo yes, that sounds like fun! I'm not available for long play sessions super often, but I'll shoot you a PM. (:

^ Sounds great, Arie! I'll PM you right back to see what times would work for both! I tried a new game with Thor last night, named Calico! It's a cute pattern-building game of putting quilts together, sewing buttons, and attracting cats to our blankets! Mostly good thinking/planning with a little bit of luck thrown in, but not overly complex or too long (reminiscent of Sagrada). Loved it!
And this is a screenshot of my sister in the process of beating my ass playing Agility on TTS today:

Ratqueen Thanks for mentioning that game. I need to send the link to two different friends of mine who love games, quilts, and cats. Though thier cat's would probably try to steal the pieces.

Ratqueen You have excellent taste in games my friend, lol! Sadly I have only hard copies and don't have anything running iOS, but thank you for the suggestion, that's so sweet of you! <3 I don't have TTS but I do most definitely have Steam for all my vidya games, so I'll take a look! Telestrations sounds like FUN (arty person with a knack for drawing here) Does anyone have Drawful 2? I seem to have it in my Steam library, but I've never played it... Don't remember buying it, musthave picked it up as a freebie somewhere along the way. r.e. Agility, it's amazing how you can find a board game with just about any theme now, haha. Also Calico looks super cute! (Reminds me of Patchwork, but with cattos?) Thor seconded suggestion duly noted!

Laura 🐹, if you decide to get TTS, I'm sure it'll be 50% again very soon!
I do have Drawful 2, but never tried it. I also got it free from somewhere. Huh... I was trying to see how many players it needed, but it says it's only for LOCAL multiplayer. What a bummer. It does have the Steam "Remote Play Togheter" feature available though, which I've used successfully with my partner (so, locally), but I don't know how that would work with multiple players.
Calico looks very much like Patchwork (which I love!), but plays more like Sagrada.

Digital games are also great! I love that we can all play with each other online <3
Oooo! The $10+ unlock! Terraforming Mars, Blood Rage, and Lord of the Rings the Card game 😍😍 I have LotR the card game and it's a ton of fun! I'd be down to try it and teach someone how to play :)
If anyone wants to play Blood Rage or Terraforming Mars, I'd be down to get it.

Thank you for the heads up, Catbaloo! I'm actually more into digital board games nowadays! For some reason, Humble is sending me those emails later and later every time -- I just received their email about this bundle 10 minutes ago, and the second tear is already over $9. Mah. I already own Ticket to Ride and almost all its DLCs (I actually love this game!), Small World and 2 DLCs (it's alright), and I beta tested Love Letters (and hated it). If the second tier had been down to its starting price, I probably would have gotten it just for Splendor and Pandemic (even though I already have both on iOS). Not sure I'd want Terraforming Mars as it has lukewarm reviews, and I see play time is 2 hours. About Lord of the Rings, is that digital game based on this board game: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/77423/lord-rings-card-game ? Thor, if you do get the bundle, we could at least play Ticket to Ride and Small World together. I'm still debating whether I'd want to pay 10 bucks for the games I don't already have...

The Humble Tabletop bundle looks interesting! I have one of their previous tabletop bundles ("digital tabletop bundle 2" but I only bought the $1 tier). A while back my mom found one of the physical copies of the Ticket to Ride games on sale and bought it (it was the London version). I loved it but for whatever reason all the other physical copies are so expensive.
Anyway I may have to pick up the bundle just for the Ticket to Ride games. I don't have anyone to play them with so if I got the bundle and anyone ever wants to play Ticket to Ride I'd be interested.
Edit: I also picked up Tabletop Simulator a while back but haven't gotten a chance to play. If anyone has any quick/easy game suggestions that would be cool!

Definitely can play Ticket with you sometime!
Also, yessssssssssssss to Tabletop!! Woohoo! I have plenty of quick/easy games suggestions to suggest I will write down a list with links to Board Games Geeks' related pages when I have a moment. I might as well post it here for whoever wants to check it out. And we can of course play together, and with Thor depending on availability!

Apologies if this game has already been mentioned but has anyone played Machi Koro?
My mom and I recently tried it this weekend. I like the game art and the game itself; it's easy and I think the theme (building up your city) is fun. However, and maybe we're just playing it wrong or haven't played it enough times, but it felt like whoever was winning at the beginning dominated until the end. The game also went quite quickly! I would definitely like to play it with 4 people once social distancing is over.

I've never played it, but I see I actually have a scripted version of it on TTS! (by "scripted", it usually means it has an automated setup, and sometimes more automated/facilitated things ). Maybe we can try it sometime!
