I have been showing Petz in earnest since 2014, so I have quite the collection of show petz to showcase here! Of course, with me having been showing before the "show revival" that happened here at RKC around 2017, that meant that when show rooms became a thing, I already had a number of show petz, and was already keeping track of their points on my journal (previously Livejournal, now Dreamwidth). On that note, this showroom will not replace my show records on my journal--this will act more as a supplement. I won't be posting the points totals of my petz here, and the titles may not be accurate (especially for Petz currently still being shown). For that information, check out my "main" show records right here!
What this will be is a way for me to show them off a little bit more, and blab on about them like the proud show mom I am lol. 
UPDATE OCTOBER 2024
Unfortunately, keeping up with updating my showroom has become too time-consuming and stressful for me, so with the exception of this main post, I will not be updating the entries here for the foreseeable future. (I will be updating the SGCh count, mainly because I want to see how long it takes me to get to 1000 lol). I will not remove anything here, but things will probably be out of date on some of them, and from this point going forward I won't be adding my new show team members. You can still see everyone on my Dreamwidth linked above, though.

0-9    SGCh PH's Take One Down, Pass It Around99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall Adopted by meThe story behind 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, and his name, is a kind of funny one. One day in 2002, on a whim, I opened up the original Dogz game, which was still installed on my computer, and decided to adopt a chihuahua. Just for fun, I gave him a ridiculously long, silly name (the naming box in the original Dogz was around three to four times longer than it is in later games). I don't really know why, but the long-named dog endeared himself to me so much that I imported him to Petz 4 not long after. I posed him when the only copy of him I had was in 5, and uggh. NEVER AGAIN. Posing dogz in P5 is the worst. Luckily, he's now back in P4 thanks to PetFlux and enjoying his retirement.  |

A    SGCh PH's Look in My Eyes, I'm Still AliveAaron Adopted by me (okay, technically my brother, but he's mine now)AARON! It's fitting that one of my very first Petz comes first alphabetically (when you don't count 99, that is). He was one of the four Petz my brother and I adopted the very first day we played Petz 3, December 23 1998, and his mate is Princess the tabby. Aaron is generally fearful as befitting for an oshie, but he's not at all timid around Princess, and she can be tough to handle, so that's why I always say Aaron is more courageous than one might give him credit for! He's worn that outfit forever, to the point where he looks very strange to me naked. Of course he did his show career naked, and blasted through to SGCh at breakneck speed! Now he can be clothed again, lol

Accolade is Memory's grandson, which also makes him a descendant of both Eder and of Princess and Aaron. He's pretty much your typical, scruffy alley mixie. He has a nice pose for one, though, I must say! SGCh PH's Weak in the Heel
Achilles
Bred by me Achilles is one of my purebred, non-inbred papillons. He's pretty calm, not really yappy at all. He placed BIS in his very first show and continued to do great throughout his show career, same as all my pappies!
A number of years ago now, I completely lost my mind and decided I wanted to breed at least one purebred poodle in every color combination (that's 100 combinations total). The project took awhile, but I did get my goal! Acid came from that project, being the blue fur, white paws variety. He's more handsome than his name would suggest     SGCh SWSK/PH's Lyrical PianoAditya Bred by Salem@Mos EisleyAditya's looks are rather plain, but I think she looks quite lovely with her relatively slim body and of course those striking green eyes.  I think she was one of the first chinchies I ever showed. Her name, and show name, don't really mean anything... sometimes I just grab a random phrase that sounds nice and use that for a show name when I don't have any other ideas. Aegina Bred by me I bred Aegina myself, from scratch, a few years ago when I wanted a few more poodles in my crew. She turned out really gorgeous! And she's actually pretty sweet for a poodle! She likes to follow my cursor around and lick it, and she's not really finicky at all. My current favorite song is Back Where You Belong by 38 Special, hence her show name! I finally got a decent forward-facing pic from her, when her show career was already half-over lol

A number of years ago, I bred all the tamsins I had in P4 together with each other, just wanting to see what I could come up with. Afterthought comes from that breeding excursion (his father is Klondike). His looks are pretty simple, but I really like how dark and mysterious he looks.

I... think? that I got Alan in a Halloween or Christmas swap. He checks a lot of my boxes--a green-eyed calico, with some red fur as a bonus! Personality-wise he's a pretty chill dude; he isn't hyper or mean or anything, he's just typically friendly and playful.

I bred Alana from one of the B&W Fold selective breed breeding pairs from JinxFold Cattery. Since she's a selective breed, I've found that when I breed her to other catz, her colors and markings are pretty dominant. Go fig, lol. For awhile she was one of my only scottish fold mixies, so she sort of holds a special place in my crew because of that!

I'm pretty sure Alice was bred with the surprise dali OW, and she has such neat looks! She's also a purebred dali, and only third generation... buuuut, she's inbred. Darn! I would have liked to breed her into my dali lines. Oh well, I can just enter her in shows instead    SGCh Blep/PH's Backup PlanAlternate Bred by Jill@BlepAlternate is the first of my show petz to show up from Blep alphabetically... the first of many, lol. What can I say, I've kept a lot of the Petz I've received from the ABL, and many of those have made their way to the show ring! Alternate is very unique looking, and while smooth coats aren't always my favorite, Alternate's colors, including the alternating colors on her paws that gave her her name, really caught my eye. I intended to pose her in dali pose like most of my other dalis, but her sheepie ears made her look kind of silly... but then, just as I was bemoaning her ears, she turned her head and gave me this killer profile pose!     SGCh PH's Liars in LoveAmarna Bred by meAmarna technically only has one parent--I copied my chinchi Bobblehead, gender-swapped the copy, and bred them together. Talk about inbreeding lol. I was working on a breeding quest for PUGS, and the goal was a chinchi, which Amarna obviously isn't (her sibling is Crackle, who I think did fit the requirements for that specific challenge). But I was drawn to her smaller size, neat colors, and adorable chinchi personality, so I kept her. Her show name is from a song lyric, and while I don't think she's a liar, she definitely did fall in love with Dreamcast very quickly and made an awkward baby with him lol

Amethyst Bred by Lee@December I am in total awe in how perfectly Lee has bred the distinctive traits of the P5 breeds onto tamsins! Amethyst of course has the German shepherd coat. I bought her off of TFM. Her original name was Opal, but I already had an Opal in my crew, and decided to keep the gemstone theme when renaming her. Funnily enough, opal is my birthstone, and amethyst is my husband's, so it worked out pretty well    SGCh Mika/PH's Yankee BurritoAmigo Bred by Mika@LavenderWhat a pretty exotic! Red is my favorite fur color in Petz, and I of course always love pink eyes, too. There's a fast-food restaurant here in Nebraska called Amigos that used to have an item on their menu called a "Yankee Burrito"--it was basically just a hotdog rolled up in a tortilla. Not that I think Amigo here is a hotdog or anything, but the name amused me.    SGCh PH's Amparito RocaAmparito Bred by meAmparito is one of my purebred, non-inbred alley catz. I know a lot of people disagree with me, but I really like dark brown eyes in Petz, and Amparito's look especially nice with his brown fur. His name comes from a piece we play in flute choir fairly often. He doesn't have a lot of cream alley patches; I think the OW I used at the time seemed to breed them out for some reason? Which is a bummer, since I really like them especially on the legs and ears. Oh well, Amparito still looks nice with just cream spots on his back (and I have a different OW now that passes along all the patches!).

Analiese was bred in P5 and is, unsurprisingly, a Dana and Rufus descendant... and a Pink and Slate descendant... and she's even descended from 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall! She's got quite the varied family tree! She barks like a Great Dane and loves wearing bows.

I'm sure if you're a 90's kid like me you don't need me to explain her show name, but if you don't know, it's a beautiful song from the animated movie Anastasia. The Anastasia of the movie is a redhead, so it fits Anastasia the red dog pretty well I'd say lol

Andromeda is the daughter of Squeak, one of my other danes who I've shown up to SGCh. I assume I was breeding for PUGS and kept her back for myself--normally I'm not the biggest fan of orange and blue together, but Andromeda's blue muzzle against her orange fur is quite striking.

Antar is a timid, unassuming little guy, but his show name hints to his true status in my crew--he's Princess and Aaron's first child, and thus the first catz I (well, okay, actually my brother) ever bred! Not only that, but Antar is also the father of Star, my first show catz and one of my absolute favorites! With his parents, son, several siblings, and various other descendants already in the show ring, I figured Antar was faaaar past due to embark on his own show career. I absolutely love Anver's colors, and it's always fun to enter a scottie in the show ring! He's a bit of an odd one, though. He fights with most of the dogz I take out with him, but when I put them away he gets sad. I took his show name from the song by Slaughter.

Anybody was adopted from the pitbull OW file from Hextraordinary, the version 1 of the file. While I do like the newer version too, something about this first version has such an appealing look, in the muzzle especially. I really love Anybody's black and white coloring, too. It almost makes her look like a bulldog.    SGCh PH's Magnificent DesolationApollo Bred by meI find Apollo a little boring looks-wise, but he is a homegrown tamsin from me, so that does make him pretty special. And yes, he is a true tamsin--two of his white feet are from his scottie markings, but the other two are mutt patches! And that one little spot on his left toe is just too adorable. His mother is Lydia, another dog I've showed! His show name comes from the Apollo 11 moon landing. Everyone knows Neil Armstrong's first words upon setting foot on the moon, but Buzz Aldrin's are just as poetic--when describing the lunar landscape, he called it simply "magnificent desolation".    SGCh Caprice/PH's Mi Estas Frago!Appuyer Bred by KiwioStarz@CapriciousCapricious was such a great site; I wish I had adopted more from them! And when you adopted from the site, the owner sent along show pics along with the pet! Although I seem to have lost the show pose that came with Appuyer; this is one I took myself. He's not the most visually striking dog out there, but I like how he's shorter and thicker than a regular dali mixie. I started showing him when I was learning Esperanto on Duolingo, and one of the sentences it gave you was "Mi estas frago!" which means "I'm a strawberry!" Ridiculous and nonsensical, but amusing nonetheless.

Apuk was adopted from the ADK schnauzer breed. He's not a giant schnauzer or a miniature schnauzer--just the normal size! I think he's pretty neat looking, and his interesting looks didn't seem to give judges too hard a time--he did pretty well in the ring, all things considered!

Aqua was a prize for completing the find-it at Cargo--well, for finding the hidden aquamarine, at least! I just love her shimmery texture. After a long while of just hanging around my folders, I decided it was high time to show her off to the world!
   SGCh PH's Salvation a la Mode and a Cup of TeaAqualung Bred by Bambi VisionAqualung is so handsome, and he knows it lol. He was bred by Bambi Vision, but with instructions to just use your own prefix when showing. I named him after the song Aqualung by Jethro Tull, and so of course his show name comes from the lyrics of the song. I had lots of options for his show name, since the middle part of the song is so lyrical. Fitting for such a pretty cat.    SGCh Blep/PH's We Have the MeatsArby Bred by Jill@Blephaha, I love this girl so much. She has a meezer personality and is very sassy. And why don't more people breed full-size persians with chinchi bodies? It makes them look so compact, and I really like the look. Her show name of course comes from Arby's current slogan... although I don't eat there often, they got rid of the one menu item I really liked, darn them! lol

Ariel is one of Princess and Aaron's children, and I think she was their last one born before I got P5. Like her brother Thomas, she has a tabby personality and can pose normally, but she's also got very low confidence and has the oshie shakes something fierce. This may be hard to believe, but Armstrong's parents are actually two alley mixies! I wasn't expecting anything at all like Armstrong to come out of them. Arnold Bred by me Arnold is a direct descendant of my foundation poodle pair Pink and Slate and was born on Christmas Eve! His brother's name is Benedict, but when it came time to give him a show name I chose to prove how much of a 90's kid I am by making it a reference to the show Hey Arnold. He really likes the auto-rolling ball!    SGCh Blep/PH's Straight to the HeartArtery Bred by Jill@BlepPreviously, every pet with chi ears that I'd shown was in dali pose, so I thought I'd challenge myself and see how well a chi-eared dog would do in profile. Artery blasted her way to SGCh in very little time, so I'd say it went very well! I just love how all her different parts come together--chi ears, scottie tail, sheepie feet. She's just so pretty! Aruba Bred by Willow "Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya to Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama..." Although there are a lot of islands mentioned in this song, since Aruba's the first, that's the one that always makes me think of the Beach Boys song Kokomo. Aruba was adopted here on RKC from Willow in one of her massive dogz adoption threads, and was bred with the surprise dali OW, I believe. Her markings are just so neat and of course I love her striking green eyes.    SGCh PH's Strayed into a DreamArwen Bred by meI bred Arwen for a trade, but she was passed over--can you believe that?! She's so gorgeous! But hey, that means I get to keep her lol. I always loved the moment in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring when Aragorn and Arwen are having a romantic moment, and Aragorn says that the first time he saw Arwen, he thought he had "strayed into a dream". Her father is Casper and her maternal grandmother is Peril!

So I... really, really love the tigrinz file from Bad_Death. I may or may not have adopted one in each color. Yeah, it's a bit of an obsession lol. Anyway, since I have so many of them, I figured it was about time that I started showing one, and Asbestos gets to be the first! Since he's a pretty hexy breed, I wasn't able to enter him in many shows, but he's still got a winning pose to me either way
   SGCh PH's My CardAsher Bred by meAsher is another one of my homegrown tamsins, scruffy and spotty and with two-toned ears, just the way I like them! He's also named after my stepson! At the time he was really into Pokemon, including the trading card game (I mean, I guess he still is lol), hence why his show name is a vague reference to cards. Not the same card necessarily, but I guess I could see this dog use calling cards in social situations, he's got that air of sophistication about him despite his scruffiness. His grandfather is Lafayette!

After showing Corky to SGCh and nearly forgetting about Attaboy, I figured I should give him some attention and give him his turn to shine in the show ring as well. And he killed it! I feel a little bad for sort of neglecting him before now--he's a great poser, a super happy and friendly dog, loves to dress up... he's such a good dog, attaboy!

I adopted him back when I was first really getting into the social side of Petz on the forums rather than just lurking on websites, around 2013 or so, and I showed him not too long after that. He may be a little plain, but pink eyes will always grab me, and I love the way alley patches look on tabby coats. His show name is basically unrelated and comes from the lyrics of "Listen to Your Heart" by Roxette. If you haven't figured out by now I'm kind of bad at coming up with show names lol. Lots of them I just grab from whatever song I'm listening to at the time.    SGCh Cargo/PH's Kiss Me DeadlyAyelet Bred by Amanda@CargoAyelet is one of my many petz adopted from Cargo. Isn't she precious? I've read many people say that chihuahuas are hard to pose, but I seem to be in the minority in regards to that--I think they're fun and easy to pose, second only to dalmatians as far as non-poodle dogz go. She's another example of "just grab a song title/lyrics for a show name since I can't come up with anything else"--in her case, the kick-butt song Kiss Me Deadly by Lita Ford. |

I got Bach in a grabbag and named him after one of my favorite composers! I entered him in siamese specialty pose shows, too, but man, getting those poses from him was tough! Luckily he was perfectly willing to pose for me multiple times lol

And talk about an unrelated show name... I was watching Sesame Street videos when I first started showing him, and the line "the castle was cold" come from the Count's song "Batty Bat". I suppose it does sort of fit Batal, who not only has "bat" in his name but also has bat-like ears. Did I make this connection back when I came up with the show name? I remember Jesi had similar grabbags for a few other breeds, and I would have grabbed the poodle one, but someone got to it first, so I settled for the scottie grabbag. I suppose it's just as well, since I have more poodles than scotties anyway and getting some nice scotties was certainly a treat! He's a good dog, eager to please, and his pose is killer. I'm not normally a fan of dusty/tan color combos, but his gorgeous green eyes are a nice counter to that and I think he's rather handsome!

I took her show name from lyrics from Coldplay's song "The Scientist", which is quite the inspiration to write fanfic for a number of my OTPs lol

What I am sure of is that either she or Bleep was the first oshie-personality cat I posed and showed. She's super pretty with her monochrome coloring and pink eyes! Scared of everything, of course. But maybe she's just a small-town girl, livin' in her lonely world...

I bred Berlioz when I was breeding together all of my tamsins to see what I'd get. His father is South, so he's actually a half-brother to four of my most important tamsins (Freeze, Embrace, Napoleon, and Lafayette). I sold a lot of them on PUGS and TFM, but I kept this guy back for myself, for obvious reasons

I named her after the character from the Rescuers movies (hence her show name), and just like her namesake, she's very elegant and loves all sorts of dress-up! I never did get catz as big as Space Monster, but Biggs and one of his brothers are at least big, anyway. He's got calico patches up the wazoo but I think they look nice on him; he'd be a little plain looking without them!

I needed a name for an alien character in a fanfic I was writing. I ended up reusing the name (and another one) with the dogz I adopted from Feral. His show name comes from back when my brother and I would actually act out stories with our chess pieces. We named all but one of the bishops after popes (with Boniface being one of them) and all but one were evil. Hence, evil bishop lol.

I of course love his red fur and two-toned ears. He is high-strung as is typical for chis, so his name is rather fitting--he sometimes he acts as if he's consumed too much caffeine lol

Mixing a great dane and a sheepdog can sometimes result in... awkward mixes, lol, but I love how pretty Callisto is, with her mostly sheepdog build--the only dane parts she inherited from her mother are her ears and personality. I did hex her eyes a few years ago to make them bigger, since I've become completely spoiled by the sheepdog eye fix OW lol. I got her show name from looking up facts of the moon Callisto of Jupiter, and found out that it has a tidal lock, meaning I guess that the same side always faces Jupiter, just like our moon. So that's pretty cool.

When I come to add her, I double check just to make sure... and wait, I bred her?! Granted, both of her parents are from Blep, so I can understand my confusion lol. Citrus is really sweet, and she absolutely LOVES wearing that bandana!

It took him awhile, but he can now finally proudly brag about his supreme grand champion status. I got his name from a Disney Junior show that my daughter used to watch a lot, PJ Masks (I ended up really liking the show too, I even wrote fanfic for it lol). The character Catboy (real name Connor) often makes cat-related puns in his exclamations, like declaring bad situations to be "a cat-TASROPHE!"

Corrupt Bred by Arie@Litterz Factory Corrupt is a purchased petz, either from PUGS or TFM, I can't remember which. What I can remember is that when I put him in my game, the file didn't work for some reason. I shot Arie a message and luckily she still had a copy of him, and the second attempt at putting him in my game worked, thankfully. After all the trouble the first version of his file gave me, I decided to name him Corrupt. He really enjoys posing, and looks great when he does it, too! Crazy Horse Bred by Ratqueen I believe that Crazy Horse was specifically bred to be both earless and tailless, lol. He's got quite the grumpy personality--maybe he resents having missing body parts? I adopted him shortly after coming home from our vacation to South Dakota, and had the stuff we'd seen still on my mind, including the perpetually unfinished Crazy Horse memorial. Dalmatians are actually probably one of my least favorite breeds--I don't have anything really against them, I just find them kind of boring, I guess? And I really like the two-toned ears--a lot of my dalmatians have that, and I really love the look. For some reason I gave most of my earliest purebred dalmatians one-syllable names, and I've kept that naming pattern with every new one I get, unless it already came with a name. I took Crent's show name from the song Dela by Johnny Clegg. I first heard it in the George of the Jungle movie as a kid, but I recently re-discovered it--it's such a great song. I got Critic in a grabbag way back in 2008--I think it might have been one of my first grabbags I ever got, actually. It was mostly dogz in the grabbag; my only two catz were Critic and Spoonerism. Critic here may look like a purebred meezer, but he's actually a mixed breed... he's just so meezer that he cancels out anything else, lol. He seems to get bullied by every other catz I take him out with, poor guy. He needs to learn to stand up for himself!
   SGCh PH's Caesar SaladCrouton Bred by meCrouton is one of eight tamsins I bred specifically to be show dogs. When I started showing dogz, I quickly realized that dalmatians are some of the easiest to pose, so I wanted to have a group of them in P3 to enter into shows. There were some downloadable tamsins on Cargo at the time, and I also grabbed some of the downloadable ones on Fiction and Cirrutopia, bred them all together, and kept eight of them that I liked. I really like the way Crouton's fur and eye colors go together, and of course I love his scruffy scottie coat too.    SGCh PH's Demolition WomanCrumpet Bred by meCrumpet is Coolio's granddaughter! She is a super neat-looking dog. When I went to pose her, I intended on getting her in profile pose, but she gave me such a great dali pose, even eyelids and everything, that I just went with that instead. And she did super well in the show ring, too! I took her show name from the line "demolition woman, can I be your man?" in Def Leppard's song Pour Some Sugar on Me. (Also, what the what is she doing with her front legs in this picture lol)    SGCh PH's Forever and a DayCumberland Bred by meAnother puredbred non-inbred from yours truly. Cumberland was one of the very first dogz I showed, and I posed him in P5, and, uh... I'm not exactly sure he's actually posing correctly? And even if he is, this isn't a very good pose. Well, everyone's gotta start somewhere, right? And he did make it to supreme grand champion with this pose anyway. Since showing him, he's been fluxed to P4, and I've also fixed his eye size and hexed his eyelids to black. He'd probably do a lot better in the show ring now that I actually know what I'm doing, but oh well. Sorry, Cumberland! Somebody's gotta be the guinea pig.

I actually attempted to show him many, many years ago (I'm talking like when I was in high school), and in the first show I entered him, I think he did place but the host of the show told me "that black line on his legs makes it look like you edited the picture, which is cheating, I'll let it slide this time but don't cheat again". I was taken aback because of course I didn't edit the picture, his legs are just that way naturally... but I didn't show him again for a long while because I was afraid that other judges might accuse me of cheating too. I brought him back into the show ring a few years ago and he did very well, and of course we all know that those legs just naturally have a thick outline (as do, you know, many other catz...) At least that's how I'm remembering it. I don't think I would have adopted Dickory otherwise, since I don't really care for smooth dachie coats or grey/slothy eyes, but this was not long after I reinstalled P3 and needed some new petz to have in my crew, so he stayed with me. Dickory is a bit of an odd one. When I got P5, I wanted to breed both a dog and a cat with all 15 breeds, and also to have them related to my main couples. The 15 breed catz were Davy's children, so they're descended from all my main catz couples, and the 15 breed dogz was descended from both Dana and Rufus and my foundation poodle pair, Pink and Slate. To get the other breeds I needed I adopted them from the AC and bred them together in a relatively structured way. So once the project was done, I had at least one AC pet of every original breed... except dalmatian. The dalmatian in my 15 breed pet came from Darth Vader, who is Xena's (Dana and Rufus's first child) mate and is a dane/dalmatian I adopted from the Petz.com matchmaking service back when they offered that. I don't think I ever actually owned a purebred dalmatian in P3 or 4. And, well, the gap was bugging me, so I went and adopted Dipstick, naming him for his lovely tail. (His mate is one of Dana and Rufus's grandchildren.) Dipstick is one of the first dogz I showed--he really, really likes to pose, so I took the time to get a pose out of him in P5, which was... tough. lol. Doctor Feelgood is one of those approximately 55 poodles that came from that "little" project lol. The picture of him on my crew page has him leaping straight into the air, so I thought of him as being very energetic, but now that I've actually gotten to know him better as part of my show crew I've found that he's actually very reserved and calm. I named him after the Motley Crue song, and his show name comes from the lyrics of the song. I immediately set out to find him a pink-eyed mate. The website Caliber offered purebred calicoes (I think they might have specialized in them?) and I applied for Eagle's Wings here mostly due to her eyes. In retrospect, though, what an amazing calico! She doesn't have any little cali patches and I'm pretty sure that it's natural, and she has selfie eyelids too. Showing her was an easy decision because she actually came with a show name, so I didn't have to think of one! lol. Not that her show name is much different from her call name... Elera is obviously not the exotic I was aiming for, but I still kept her because I thought she was pretty. I actually named her after a fanfic writer I followed back in high school, and her show name is the name of my favorite of her fanfics (which isn't online anymore, which is a shame, but I don't blame her since I'm kind of ashamed of everything I wrote back then too lol). Elera the cat is unaffected by everything. She just likes to sit and look pretty, and she hardly notices toys or clothes.

They all have the exact same mutt patches, the same one brown ear and brown eyelids, and the same eye color, but they're all easily told apart too--two have smoother coats (Embrace and Freeze) while two have scruffy scottie coats (Lafayette and Napoleon), and two are dusty (Embrace and Napoleon) while two are white (Freeze and Lafayette). (Nearly) every tamsin I bred in P5 was descended from one of these four, and they're all Dana and Rufus descendants too!

PKC G3 Ch The Importance of Being Ernest at PowerhouseErnest Bred by mePugs are actually one of my favorite dog breeds in real life, but they were some of the last of the non-inbred purebreds I bred. The P5 pug file is... um, a disaster. The face is appalling with just a black dot for the nose, and when bred the colors patch all over instead of staying one color throughout the dog (the P5 German shepherd is the same way). I found fixed OWs for most of the other broken P5 breed files, but I had so much trouble finding one that fixed the pug (this was before Jewellz put fixed unibreeds for all the files on Reverie, I essentially had to track these down one by one). When I found Anystar's fixed pug file it was kind of like a godsend lol. It does look a little different from the Ubisoft file, but I like some of the touches it has like curled tails on some of the pups and that cute little oval nose. Ernest is extra special because he's my first petz to be both a supreme grand champion in forum/website shows and a PKC champion with ten out of ten conformation points! He was actually only my second pet to reach championship there. Funnily enough, after all that Ernest actually doesn't like to pose very much. He gets grumpy and angrily barks at me during posing sessions lol. Obviously he does eventually cooperate.

I got Frampton in a grabbag, and I have another dali who looks very similar to him, so I almost didn't keep him. But, obviously, I changed my mind in the end. Brown and orange is a really nice color combo, and figured you could never have too many petz with it.

Francesca, like Ernest and Farley, is another one of my purebred, non-inbred pugs who happened to be A-registerable at the PKC. And just like Ernest, she hates posing. Hates it! She gets so mad at me when I drop her into alignment! I was kind of surprised that she got her PKC championship before her cousin Farley, who I'm also showing at the PKC. But anyway, with the hard part out of the way, I thought I'd work on getting her a supreme grand champion title on the forums as well! At least I don't have to retake her picture every month here lol. Once again, an unrelated show name; I took it from the lyrics of an old song called "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight".

Fun fact about me: I have a particular interest in the US presidents, and thus have a Petz named after every one of them (yes, even the recent ones). I remember I was mostly going in order as my new litters were born, and by the time I got to the 20th president, I was at a dog litter... and immediately I was like, "NO". Because another fun fact about me: I have been a fan of the comic strip Garfield for pretty much my entire life. And I knew I had to reserve the name for not only a cat, but an orange tabby-stripped cat.  Luckily I got one pretty quickly. He has a calico personality and is pretty much nothing like his comic strip namesake, lol. He's also Emily's brother and thus both a Princess/Aaron AND Sophisto/Pouncer descendant
   SGCh PH's Crimson in JanuaryGarnet Bred by meI've mentioned my four "foundation" tamsins born to Garnet and South a number of times by now, and here finally is Garnet herself. Her birth was actually super important to me. So around the end of 2008 I got a grabbag from Cargo, and there were two tamsins in the bag. Before I'd been kind of "meh" on tamsins, but I really liked the two I got and thought it would be fun to breed some of my own. The problem was, back then, I had a sort of mantra that, with only a few exceptions, every pet I bred would be descended from one of my main couples. For mixed breed dogz, this meant Dana and Rufus. Breeding a dali-bodied dog with mutt patches might not be so easy if I insisted on having a first gen dane and sheepdog pair relatively recently in their family tree. But luckily for me, I had a dog named Misty who was a granddaughter of Xena and thus a great-granddaughter of Dana and Rufus who, while lacking mutt patches and with a short tail, still had a perfect dali body and face otherwise. I bred her to one of the grabbag tamsins from Cargo, Sprocket, and they had two children. One of them wasn't a tamsin, but the other one was Garnet, and oh my goodness, is she not absolutely perfect? Red fur and green eyes, such a perfect look for the first tamsin I ever bred. As such, Garnet is the ancestor of (almost) every tamsin I bred in P5!

When I named him, I was playing flute in the pit orchestra of a community performance of the musical "My Son Pinocchio", which focuses more on Gepetto, and his show name is the name of the song Gepetto sings near the end of the show. I have two poodle mixies from Sheba, Idiom here and Perri, and they look extremely similar to each other. I know they're related somehow, and I also know I got at least one of them in a grabbag--and I possibly got both of them via grabbags, lol. I can't say no to a pretty poodle, though, even if it looks similar to one I already have! Idiom was very picky about what clothes he wore. He didn't like a lot of similar sweaters, but he liked this one a lot!

Even those markings on her toes come and go as she walks, as you can probably tell by the two pictures! But her uniqueness is what eventually won me over. Showing was tough for her--she's a trotter and has those sheepdog ears that make a dali pose more awkward--but she made it in the end.

Yes, yes, her name is a bit of a joke lol. Back in the original Sims game, my brother and I made a sim named "Ima Sexylady" who went about at seducing every other sim in the game (and when the Sims 2 came out, we of course remade her in that game as well!). I named this catz after our promiscuous sim, lol. She's actually always been one of my favorites of my purebred calicoes--I love her coloring paired with her teal eyes. She's also a great-granddaughter of my foundation calico pair, Calicoo and Jester

I knew from this guy's small, compact fame that I'd be taking him home before he was even revealed! He's quite the character--he's constantly making very weird faces at everyone and everything.

I used the fixed overwrite from Atticus to breed my GSDs, and I think it only fixes the colors so that they mutate properly, and didn't fix other things that I think the file now available at Reverie does. So as awkward as her legs and ears and such are in this pose, it's about the best I could get from her lol. It was a long road to retirement, but she made it in the end! Jester Adopted by me Jester is a very old catz, and he, along with his first mate Calicoo (who I no longer have, long story) were the first catz that I myself adopted (my catz older than him were originally my brother's). Star and his mother Stormy made me realize just how much I loved calicoes, and I just had to get some for myself. I remember it took me many tries to finally get a male out of the AC... it was only after I'd adopted him that I remembered I still had Petz 2 installed on my computer, and I could have just adopted a calico there and imported it and set the gender to male then. Oh well lol. Jester's a lot of fun, and between him and both of his mates he's in the ancestry of most (maybe all) of the purebred calicoes I bred

I'd never heard of the show, and with good reason--it's a French series that only ever had its first season dubbed into English, and said dub only ever aired in Australia. Still, though, I was intrigued enough by what I was reading that I managed to track down that season, and fan subbed episodes of later seasons, and I am officially hooked. I of course had to name a pet after the title character, who's always looking for games to play with "les amis", or as the English dubbed episodes often had her say, her "buddies"! My cat is kind of different from her namesake, though. She'd rather climb on walls than make friends.

(She died before she could finish Z and thus the alphabet, what a loss!)

Lady comes from the ADK American cocker spaniel file, and since Lady and the Tramp has always been one of my favorite movies, I of course just had to name her Lady! Even though she doesn't look very much like the character, lol. She does love getting dressed up, though, and her pose is surprisingly good! Well, at least I think so, anyway
SGCh PH's America's Favorite Fighting FrenchmanLafayette Bred by meLafayette is another one of Garnet and South's children and one of my foundation tamsins originally from P5, and he might be my favorite of the bunch. (Don't tell his brother and sisters, though.) He's a trotter, he's super pretty, and I like how his mutt patches completely cover his black scottie points--the only way you can tell they're black at all is because of his eyebrows. I basically named him after the Marquis de Lafayette, one of my favorite historical figures, and even though he was born and named years before the show Hamilton even existed, it provided a perfect show name for him when he entered the ring.

Lindsay is Memory's sister, making her a Teddy x Eder baby (and also a Princess x Aaron grandbaby!). When I first made Princess and Aaron's family tree, however, I accidentally left her and her sister Fudge off, since they weren't listed in either Teddy or Eder's profile. I know I bred the two of them for a litter for my website, so I suspect that Lindsay and Fudge were leftovers that didn't find a home. I've always thought they were both really pretty, though! They look a lot like their dad, but with alley faces and their mom's scared oshie personality. And Lindsay has her dad's beautiful eyes, too.

In fact when I sorted my breeds by face type I actually had Lisa with the persians at first because she is so 100% persian that I didn't even realize that she's got a oshie face, lol. I took her show name from the lyrics of The Sound of Silence, which was I was listening to a lot at the time (even though I wasn't depressed or anything), although it was the Disturbed version, not the Simon and Garfunkel original.

But then came the toffee variant and I liked that one even better! I was really happy and pleasantly surprised when I was chosen as Marzipan's owner! She's very sweet and likes to play dress-up. I recently watched the show Is It Cake? on Netflix and was inspired to use that for her name, since a lot of the bakers did use marzipan in their creations

She has a bulldog personality and I remember she was quite a challenge to pose, but I kept at it, even though she was one of my first show dogz and I probably should have gone with something easier lol

Minnie Adopted by me
Minnie was adopted shortly after I got P5, and as you probably guessed, she's Mickey's mate. It seemed fitting to give her a big bow, since her namesake is hardly ever seen without one! She did way better in shows than I was expecting; I'm very proud of her!    SGCh Zan/PH's Learn Japanese to SurviveMisaki Bred by ZanI purchased Misaki from TFM. I couldn't resist her green eyes and fluffy sheepie feet! When I adopted her, my husband was playing this RPG game called "Learn Japanese to Survive" where the characters were getting attacked by Japanese kanji and to defeat them, you had to type in their equivalent English sounds. At one point after playing it for awhile it showed a word in Japanese and my husband looked at it for a second and said, "That's sushi", and he was right, so it was definitely working lol. Anyway, the character in the game who taught you Japanese in order to defeat the enemy was named Misaki.    SGCh PH's No Tail, No Problem!Missing Bred by meMissing was bred from the breeding pair of the Jinx Lynxes available at Jinxfold Cattery, so if you like her, go download her parents and breed one for yourself! lol. The breed exploits a glitch in P5 where the tabby stripes lay over the invisible bobtail that the desert lynx and Japanese bobtails come with. So even though she doesn't technically have a tail, the tabby stripes show that she's still curving it nicely lol. Missing is kind of a feisty cat despite her sleepy sickness, and seems to get along with dogz very well. And he even came with a show pic, too, and a very good one at that. He's obviously a fantastic poser, but he's not the brightest crayon in the box. He loves to stare at walls for hours on end.

I bought Mistletoe from PUGS around Christmastime (hence the name) and she was a surprise two-for-one deal, since she was pregnant! I'm not sure what OW she was bred with, but her son, Banzai, was bred with it as well, so it was neat seeing him pop up. Mistletoe is a very attentive dog! When I try to snap pics of her she just sits on her butt and looks at me, lol

As her show name suggests, Misty might look a little deceptively simple at first glance, but she's actually vitally important to many of the tamsins in my crew! When I decided I wanted to try breeding some tams of my own, I also wanted them to be descended from my main Dogz pair, Dana (Great Dane) and Rufus (sheepdog). Luckily, Misty here is a granddaughter of Xena, a great-granddaughter of Dana and Rufus, and other than her tail she has a perfect dali shape and build! And she luckily passed them down to her daughter Garnet as well, giving me my first home-grown tamsin I figured with so many of her descendants in the show ring, it was high time to give Misty her just dues

Mojo Bred by me Mojo's just another one of my many purebred poodles. Normally I'm not a big fan of that eye color but I do like how it matches his paws. I of course named him after my favorite character from the Powerpuff Girls, and gave him a show name to allude to Mojo Jojo's distinctive way of talking. Momentum Bred by me Not only is Momentum one of my purebred, non-inbred JRTs, but she's also my oldest. Plus, I'm pretty sure she's not related to any of my other non-inbreds (although my first gen Cheeto might be in her family tree, I can't remember). She doesn't particularly like to pose, but I showed her anyway, she's too pretty to just keep hidden in my folders!

For some reason I have always wanted to add an E to it every time I type it out, even now. I haven't bothered changing it since then... oh well, I suppose I'm used to it this way now lol. Murphey was from my initial attempt to breed a cat with every breed in them, which I did by introducing one breed at a time, so he mostly shows traits from his RB father and alley grandfather more than any other breeds. Musketeer is from my golden retriever breeding project, when I realized I didn't have any mixies with a GR face. He's technically a leftover from that project, since he's got a mutt face rather than a GR face, but I thought he looked really neat, so I kept him back. I think she was one of the first chinchies I ever showed. Her name, and show name, don't really mean anything... sometimes I just grab a random phrase that sounds nice and use that for a show name when I don't have any other ideas. I still think it fits her simple elegance, though!
Luckily Furby the dogz is not nearly so annoying!
Luckily I got one pretty quickly. He has a calico personality and is pretty much nothing like his comic strip namesake, lol. He's also Emily's brother and thus both a Princess/Aaron AND Sophisto/Pouncer descendant
