I got a few Christmas pups this year, and I noticed something similar about them...they were all Dalis! xD So I decided to raise them naturally together in my game, and I even went and grabbed my Christmas Dali from -last year- to join the group!
I've been busy this month, and haven't had a chance to meet my newbies for a few weeks...but I finally have everything sorted out, and got to actually have some playtime!
---
This is where it started this year...with this adorable girl from Bunni ! Her name was originally Holly, but when your crew gets to be as big as mine...you need to get a little more creative to not take someone else's name! xD So I gave her a new name, Sleigh Ride! I thought few things are as magical as imagining a flying sleigh ride with Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve night...so it was the perfect magical name for her! Also, "Leigh" is a cute nickname plucked out of the middle of her name! ^^
She's absolutely adorable, and so much fun to play with! There's a lot she wants to do, and she doesn't really want to sit still. (Except for a bit of dress-up...she seemed to have fun with that!) She's very clever and decided that a side flip was a more impressive first trick than sitting up! I'm still getting to know her, but I think her name fits...this is going to be a wild ride! xDD
Christmas Lights is what I called this little guy! His dark colors make me think of night time, yet he has flashy green and red spots, almost like Christmas lights you'd see over people's homes, while driving down a dark road! It's a bit of a mouthful (We can just call him Lights. xD) but it fit him so well! Even the silvery eyes look like Christmas decorations! He's also from Bunni, bred with the same file that Sleigh Ride comes from!
He's actually a lot more mellow than Leigh, if you can believe it. He looks active in these pictures, but I took the longest amount of time with this guy trying to get different pictures I could use...he just didn't feel like being photogenic, I guess! He has this very soft, sweet feeling personality, though he definitely gets excited over treats...and also seems to rather enjoy dressup! xDD
This is a gingerbread puppy I got from gingerade , complete with pink gumdrop tail! <3 I named her Menorah, despite the Christmasy theme, because when I was naming a batch of newbies, I had a story on where the word came up a few times, and I couldn't help thinking it just sounded so pretty. I know almost nothing about Hanukkah or the religion, but I've always thought menorahs were very pretty, and had a nice name. So...I figured why not? xD
Menorah, or Nora, is a huge goofball, it seems! She kept pulling funny faces, or doing something silly when I least expected it. She looks fabulous in anything pink, and I'm just so thrilled with all the white sprinkling she has on her coat! Gingerade surprised me with making her back paw white as well, so she looks especially fancy and fun to me! <3 Considering I always have a sweet tooth, and think many Petz look like desserts...this pup just spoke volumes to me and I had to have her!
And this pup, Garland, was actually from the previous Christmas! She's hexed by Buck and I don't think she's the 'original' Garland. xD I got her in an event, where I'd also seen another dog from this file with the name Garland, yet I won this one. I don't recall her original name, but I had it already, yet Garland was free...so I snagged the other pup's name! When I first saw Sleigh Ride...I actually thought she looked a lot like Garland here, and that made me want her more! They were like sisters! xDD
Despite being an adult for about a year, Garland has now been aged down to join the other new Christmas pups! She kind of cracked me up, because she kept shooting me these looks with one eyelid half shut...like the far-left picture of her sitting down. It's sort of like a very judgy look, and it was just so funny to me for some reason. xD She's a bit of a clown, making me giggle over little things, and the first trick she learned was to jump and heel click, which ALSO makes me laugh...she's just a little nut. xDD
And...here is where I wanted to show you many pictures of the four of them playing together...but...ehh...
I only got one. They weren't really having it. x'DD Nobody was that interested in each other...and Menorah made sure to make poor, mild-mannered Christmas Lights a nervous wreck for the entire short period they had out together. x'DD You can see her look of evil, and his look of terror, very clearly here. LOL The other two just don't care about what's going on. x'DD Oh well. They're awfully pretty together, even if all they do is create Christmas chaos. x'DDD
---
I also wanted to take this moment to show off Brewster...also from Bunni! xD I am SO THRILLED I got him in time! When I looked on her site and saw a small litter of these guys...he was the last one left!! And I couldn't apply fast enough for my liking. I was so scared he had an application waiting already and I'd missed him. Luckily that wasn't the case! I'm very into shorties, but you don't often see a hexed shortie!! I have a couple, but there's still very few to go around! And on top of this, he looks LIKE A COOKIE!! <3 He looks just like a delicious chocolate chip cookie, and he also has fabulous ears and a fabulous tail!!
And my gosh he's cute. He pulls the most adorable expressions I've ever seen, and he's just so precious and endearing, I can't take it!! I've only known him for a little while but I keep bringing him out to play with again and again just to see more of his adorable face. xDD He's too much for my heart, yet I can't stop...much like sugar rushes. But that makes perfect sense with him. xDD

And lastly...I think I overdid it again in my P3 game, with new babies...
That's a lot of babies. Let me see...
So currently, Fritz and Jingle are the oldest, at around 60-something on the brainsliders. Brownie and the others are at 12. Just starting out. But Brownie, like Fritz and Jingle, was born in my P3 game this month. The rest I adopted, or bred for other reasons in my P4 game. More on that in a minute. Here's some credits...
Toto and Eclair are from zan !
Balloons, Ribbons, Streamers, Licorice, Confetti, Celebrate, and Presents were originally bred for Zan's birthday. Zan took some others from the group, and I kept the remaining pups. Didn't really expect to naturally raise them, but here they are. x'DD
Rhalean is also from Bunni
ALL the mini Sheepies under the first three Catz, as well as Holly and Sleighbells, were bred for Bunni as a trade. She kept two others, Bec took a few, and I kept the rest. Again, didn't expect to naturally raise them, yet somehow here they are...there were more Chinchilla Persians, but they stuck to my P4 game instead.
White Gold is from leashykitty
Pajamas, Kalangy, Elawa and Sota are from Salem
And Mourka, Pilot, Katrina and Widget are from smonikkims !
---
Now! Fritz and Jingle are kind of awesome. xD First of all, I brought some oldies from P5 to live in P3...these guys were from 2008 and 2009, and some of them fell in love. Well here, let me show you their family trees:
Fritz' Tree!
Fritz has a bigger one. I adopted his dad from someone called Fern a few years ago, and he was apparently born in 2009. I adopted Kinmei a bit before that, who was apparently born in 2008 (and I assume that's the year I adopted her) from Arie. (Ironically, her father Flabbergast was adopted very recently!) Yukiko (Also born in 2008) was from Flummery, and he and Kinmei have been mates for years and already had some kittens. Upon coming to P3 from P5, they found they were still in love and gave birth to a very new kitten, Sugarplum! Sugarplum had Fritz before Sugarplum herself was even fully grown...and she had him with another very old favorite!
At the exact same time...
Jingle's Tree!
Bina, born in 2019, met up with another oldie from ten years earlier...Tanko from Clutter! And they had Jingle! (Alfie and Panther are also from Smonikkims!)
Anyway. Goodness. All of this aside...
SO Fritz and Jingle have kind of a mixed, interesting background. They were also born on the same day, making them exactly the same age. And scroll back up and look at their identical pictures. That's not the first time they did that:
These Catz are oddly identical in a lot of ways, and to my delight, they are actually best friends!! While I would LOVE a kitten from them in the future, I let those things happen naturally in P3. If they're nothing more than friends, than that's how it'll be. After all, they're practically twins. xDD
To continue on with that graphic from before (wow it must be my rambling hour again) Brownie is just a random kitten from two random Catz who decided "Hey, let's have a kitten!" "Sure, I can take a nap later!" and poof, there she was, in all her fluffy, angry glory. xDD Not much of a special story for her, but she's unique and I love her already!
The mini Sheepies. I was going to only naturally raise my favorite...Donner. That silvery pup with the teal eyes and Poodle personality...I was practically holding my breath for him when I offered him up to Bunni, and then Bec...he was my favorite, and I wanted him, but I'd already snatched up Sleighbells and tried to let other people go first. To my delight (and honestly, confusion) he wasn't taken by either! But...one mini Sheepie all alone in P3? I thought I'd bring one more. I chose Dancer (previously Cookie) as her chocolate chip cookie look was irresistable. But I also really liked Lil Dasher (forgot the "Lil" on his name in the graphic, oops!) and Blitzen, for their pink eyes. Vixen, Cupid and Gingerbread for their Poodle personalities...Rolla, Comet and Donder for their teal eyes...I liked Prancer's black and gold combo...and Buddy's bright blue eyes against that red fur...and Holly, with her adorably ever-so-slightly bigger size and those Christmas colors...
Gah I dunno. I don't know if it was the reindeer themed names that made me go "WELL I CAN'T SPLIT THEM UP!" or if I'm THAT weak to little colors I just love...but they're all here. And mini Sheepie puppies are freaking cute?! They're like little plush toys running around!! I'm afraid to lose them! LOL
As for the 'birthday' Sheepies...it started much the same way. My pick of that litter was Ribbons. But I also liked Streamers...and Licorice (previously Ice Cream)...and Confetti...and Celebrate...then again, I also liked Balloons and Presents too...so here they all are. Maybe it helped that I'd just thrown in a ton of mini Sheepies, and I was just like "WHAT THE HECK, ALL THE SHEEPIES~" and now I'm in over my head. x'DD
I took in Toto and Eclair along-side a BUNCH of other pups...but these two just really stood out to me. I love Toto's French toast colors, and Eclair LOOKS like an eclair. xDD And she has a recent favorite eye color of mine. I thought they were too nice not to naturally raise.
White Gold also came in with a bunch of others...but I chose her to naturally raise, because...well, it may sound awful, but I felt bad for her! She's simply a solid white Dali looking pup with brown eyelids. From what I've seen, puppies like her usually never get adopted or are even deleted on the spot. They're just not what people are into...solid Petz with mismatched lids rarely stand a chance. But I've never known a pet who wasn't worth saving, or giving a chance to. I wanted to give her a special chance, and focus on getting to know her, because I know she's special. And so far...yes, she is crazy endearing and I'm loving her!
Pajamas, Kalangy, Elawa and Sota were adopted from Salem's site, along with some others who stayed in P4. But these four really stood out as my favorites. Pajamas is too neat with her back white feet matching her lower white half...she looks like she's wearing footie pajamas! And I LOVE her deep green eyes! And Kalangy is actually a pretty unique looking Dachshund mix! I loved her colors and smooth coat, but I didn't notice until I met her that she must have a black snout patch too, because her face looks a bit different! <3 I LOVE IT. xD
Elawa, black with her white lids, I suspected might struggle finding a home. But to me, it makes her even prettier! Her beautiful light eyes and white eyelids seem to give her an unusually soft look, and she's just so dreamily pretty to me, for some reason?? And Sota is so precious it could be fatal. xD He's got those lovely eyes, and his beautiful golden texture, and he's always doing such darling head tilts for pictures, and he just melts me every time.
Rhalean was adopted at the same time as Brewster, from earlier in this thread, and she was just such an adorable scruffy ball of fur, I couldn't resist letting her age up naturally!
I adopted Mourka, Pilot and Katrina from the same litter! (By the way! If you looked at Jingle's family tree earlier...her grandfather, Alfie? Who looks like Katrina? Yeah. They're half siblings!! I KNEW they looked alike! LOL) So far Pilot is sticking out with the most personality, with Katrina a close second! Pilot is grumpy sometimes, but seems to pull a lot more goofy faces or antics and he's just a delight! Katrina seems oddly sassy for a Russian Blue, and still isn't impressed with me...but we're working on that. x'DD Mourka is much more mellow than the other two, but very sweet and precious!!
I'm so thrilled Widget gets along with Sleighbells! I wanted to raise them together, because look! Both Chinchilla Persians, and their colors/markings are opposites! (Brown with blue points, and blue with brown points!) I already know Sleighbells is going to be a mini Chinchilla...I'm sure Widget, lanky as he is, will be taller than her. But I don't know yet if he'll stay mini or get bigger. xDD I felt bad for him too. He was literally the -only- kitten left in a thread that nobody was taking, and he looked so lonely. He's got a big 'ol Chinchi head and skinny, lanky legs...most people don't care for that, so I also had a feeling he might not get a home...and I wanted to give him a fair shot. Besides, oddly shaped Catz are hilariously awesome. xDD So far he's an absolute darling and I'm very pleased with him!!
And lastly...the cat with the ironic name...Away. I bred -TONS- of Catz for a project this month. I then split up the leftovers evenly between a few people...haven't shown them yet, but I'll do so in a few days. And then...there was one cat left. Me being the weirdo that I am, I had even numbers across the board, and one leftover cat. I didn't know what to do with her. So I kept her. x'DD Despite her name being Away, she's stayed right here! She was such a complete and utter random leftover...there were a bunch more like her, yet somehow -she- was the one who ended up dead last in my list. I don't know, I thought it was an interesting way to end up with a cat. x'DD
And again, for kicks, I decided to naturally raise her! And here she is.
---
If anyone actually reads all that, I'll be surprised. It's 4:15am and I'm tired and I barely know any of these Petz as we've all just met...yet somehow I had a novel prepared for them all.
But...thank you guys so much for the Petz. Whether you gave me some, or made me breed you some and turned them down, thus giving me Petz in a completely different way. LOL! My P3 game is utter chaos right now, but it's never boring, I guess. x'DD
I've been so busy this month, and even this showoff was hours worth of work...I think I'm going to relax for the holidays now with my new buddies!
Happy holidays, everyone!
I've been busy this month, and haven't had a chance to meet my newbies for a few weeks...but I finally have everything sorted out, and got to actually have some playtime!
