I remember there being a petz challenge that surfaces every once in a while about breeding all the original adoption center breeds together to see what you get. I have done it in the past but had yet to do so again since recently getting the game and re-joining the community. I thought it would be fun to do but with a slight twist. This time I decided to include the few external breedfiles I have downloaded as well. The results were too much fun not to share and I might have to try it again using all my various OWs. Let me know what you guys think!
*Please note that I kept all 'litter' sizes to only 1 pup so that there was no room for biased choice on my part. Only chance!
1st Generation:
Process - I simply went in alphabetically paired order. Adopting the first pup of the correct gender to come out. The first breed picked denoted the desired gender of the second. (i.e. Bring out a male bulldog than another male chi. Put chi back until female presents.)
Bulldog X Chihuahua
CK Borzoi X Dachshund
Dalmatian X German Shepherd
Golden Retriever X Great Dane
Mutt X Papillon
Jack Russel Terrier X Labrador
Saluki X Scottish Terrier
Pug X Poodle
Spotted Leopard Dane X Sheepdog
2nd Generation:
Process - Breed pups according to original pairings including gender switching if necessary. (i.e. Bulldog X Chihuahua pup will breed with CKBorzoi X Dachshund pup.)
Jauru - Ni bi - Minji - Oritsu - Ga - Gikocinai - Sumuzu - Seijo - Jaga
Notes: Ni bi was born with two tails due to her external breedfile. Seijo ended up looking just like a first generation pug although half poodle. Sumuzu is by far my favorite of this batch and is super handsome with the only oddity being the lack of a tongue.
3rd Generation:
Process - Continue with the same process of pairings including gender switching if necessary. To keep it simple they are shown next to their 'mate' in the photo above. The exception being Jaga who will be bred into the line in a future generation due to an odd number of pups.
Mashumaro - Omoshiroi - Fuefuki - Ryoken
Notes: Mashumaru has orange markings on his neck. Omoshiroi is nightmare fuel and I was terrified her genes would pass on but I got very lucky!
4th Generation:
Process - Continue with the same process of pairings including gender switching as necessary. To keep it simple they are shown next to their 'mate' in the photo above.
Chokoreto - Airashi
Notes: How absolutely spectacular are these two!? I adore them both very much and was pleasantly surprised to see no odd shapes or things happening considering their now quite diverse lineages.
5th Generation:
Process - With only one pup from the above pairing I then added the extra pup I had from my second generation batch.
Jaga - Patchi
Notes: Jaga is simply shown again from the 2nd generation image to show you who bred with the singular 5th generation puppy of Chokoreto and Airashi. Despite their lovely appearances, Patchi was more of the mess I expected from these mismatched external breedfiles.
6th Generation:
Final Product
Owari
Notes: This shockingly normal looking babe is the end result of this old school challenge. I am quite fond of her slender snoot in contrast to her floofy body and large dalmatian(?) ears! It took much self control to not breed more from this pair as I was hoping for those leopard spots to pass down but regardless am quite pleased with the result.
