When you go to show off the selective breed you just made, and RogueRowan has already posted a beautiful but almost identical one, lol. In all seriousness though, those are gorgeous (and the Munchkin Cottontail is a cutie)! Started them last night, finished this morning, and decided to call them Highlights. It's also not at all what I was going for when I started, but I think they're cute!

That's so cute! Typically, my Cottontail Cats don't come in orange. The orange one was a random mutation while i was making adoptions and there are a lot of differences between your Highlights and my Cottontail lol. I love the tiny white tailtip!

Surprise acquisition of the day - I was one of the ones helping smonikkims sort out all the petz she'd accumulated, and she'd kindly let us keep whichever ones we wanted out of the batches. So I was bringing my lot out in twos, and this guy, Present, came first. As I was bringing out the other one, Prism, I was thinking, 'yeah, he's kinda cute, he can probably stay, but this next one isn't my type so can return home'. Except... as soon as Prism came out and laid eyes on Present, she instantly decided he was hers, and promptly provided me with a kitten to prove it! So, perhaps unsurprisingly, I named him Surprise

I admit, I don't tend to actually play with my petz much these days. I get more joy out of breeding then interacting with them most of the time. However, I got a few of my favorites of my Selective Breeds out together and noticed a pair that seemed to like each other a LOT. Jitters the cat was an early result of my Rogue Jitters breed, before I added color variations, and I liked her so much, I kept her. She has an Orange Shorthair personality so she's extremely skittish, yet... she adores this dog, Mercury, from my Rogue Terrier breed. Mercury is very kind and patient with little Jitters. They play fight, talk to each other, and just make lovey dovey eyes at each other. I've been listening to some audiobooks while just watching them interact because it's SO CUTE. I really need to spend more time actually playing with my pets lol.

Spending a little time with a trio of Catz I'm not sure about maybe letting go... ... I'm just so charmed by the way Snoozes (middle) is looking at me there... maybe scratch that... The two alleys though... agh!! Trying to be a minimalist with Petz is hard! They've lived with me for so long... also what they be lookin at

I planned to take a break from making Selective Breeds, but inspiration struck and... Well, I wanted to make a spaniel.
I know the color isn't very original, since it matches the default mutt, but... there is something about the classic mutt color combo that I adore. Plus, it reminds me a lot of Lady from Lady and the Tramp with the different colored ears. Now, it does have a poodle personality, which is why I don't have any normal poses... I've pretty much decided, after much banging my head against a wall, that you can't truly separate poodle ears from poodle personalities. You can have a dog with poodle ears that doesn't show a poodle personality, but I can almost guarantee, it carries the poodle personality hidden in its traits. I hope to be proven wrong, but I've tried so many times to breed out the poodle personality and it just... doesn't work. That said... since I was going for a Lady from Lady and the Tramp aesthetic, the personality works. I love the little poodle trot with its look. So I'm really not too disappointed in keeping the poodle personality. Anyways, it had a Jack Russel head, poodle ears, scottie body, legs, and tail, and dalmatian feet because the scottie feet were HUGE on it lol. The coat can be scottie or sheepdog and it has a variety of mutt markings. I'm pretty darn happy with the end result. I think they're pretty charming little pups. I'll hopefully have some available for adoption soonish.

RogueRowan, Oh my gosh!! It really does look like Lady! It looks so unique somehow too! Wow, I want one! I hope some might go up on RKC or something sometime, as I can't handle keeping up with multiple forums, and I'm really only over here. xD

I hexed a 3D box for some kind of purpose o.o
I added a cat to see how it would react. Cat doesn't know how to deal with a pet box

I adore that box and the poor confused cat playing with it XD It's serving a wonderful purpose as-is, what more does it need?

Wow, I hadn't looked into this thread until recently, and the things you people do are amazing! The selective breeds, the cat in the box (lol), the crocodile, the double snooty-snoots Shuba and Red Comet? So good!! I don't have anything as awesome as all that to show, but I did want to share the birth of the smallest pup I've yet had born. Her mum is a purebred fox adopted from the AC, and her dad is mostly Labrador with some Mutt, Beagle, Golden Retriever, Great Dane, Germand Shepherd, and Whippet in his ancestry. Behold, their size comparisons to baby Nutmeg: Nutmeg's adorable miniatureness broke my brain when she first arrived. She looks like a little ferret, or almost like one of the mice that runs around in the playscenes!
What's amazing to me is that Nutmeg's older sister Voyager was the biggest pup I've ever had born to me. As a newborn, Voyager was as large as her mother, and here she's pictured here at age 12 and is already as big as her dad. :o
