So, what do you think about accents? I must admit that, even though I myself speak English (American English) with a slight French accent, some accents do get on my nerves, especially if they're very strong ;D I find certain accents quite charming though.
My family (who only speaks French) says I now speak French with a slight American accent, while Americans say I speak English with a slight French accent. Huh? I don't think I have much of an accent either way, but I guess I'm wrong, as people always pick it up immediately.
What about you?
And what kind of accent do you have, if any?

I'm pretty tolerant of most accents, so long as I can actually understand the person. When I get connected to someone on the phone I can't hear properly, I end up getting annoyed and rude because I'm frustrated. When I'm talking to call centers and whatnot, 9 times out of 10 I'll be given someone with a deep rich Pakistani accent to talk to!
I'm a Suvvenah frou an frou, I put me 't's on the end o' sentenciz but sumtimez i'll drop me 'h's!

Irish accents make me melt -swoons-. I don't like southern accents very much (southern USA that is). Not big on the "ya'll" and all that XD.
My 'accent' is a bit plain. My english teacher said that the accent in this area lacks 'drawl' or something like that? XD. I have a hard time understanding thick accents. My sister was watching something on BBC America and I got frustrated and yelled "WHAT ARE THEY SAYING??!!!" XD.

I can't understand most accents because of a learning disability I have. With a few exceptions, of course.
Now, as for which I love, it honestly depends on who's speaking it. To name a few men..Patrick Stewart (yum)..and Danny Messer from CSI: NY (whoever plays him, I can't look it up right now)..*noms*

I have a slight Southern accent, says all the Northern people I've met in their states. Nothing like "rednecks" (as people call them), nor like Texans, and not as drawn out as the Georgians and Virginians of those Antebellum era movies. I, however, don't know how to describe it, cause I think I talk like everyone else I know around here. And I luuurve French, German/Austrian, Australian, and slight British accents. Heavy British and Boston accents tend to erk me. The rest I take or leave depending on the person.

Irish accents make me melt -swoons-. I don't like southern accents very much (southern USA that is). Not big on the "ya'll" and all that XD. Ditto. Josh and I mutually find women with British accents quite appealing. :3 I mean, I don't roll that way, but if I did, I'd *totally* dig that.
>__> <__<But anywho. We've got an exchange student from Japan who's accent is SO unbelievably adorable. I wouldn't believe it was cute to quite that degree if I hadn't met/spoken to her myself.

Irish accents make me melt -swoons-. Ahahaha I agree. Irish accents are too awesome. <3
As for my own accent ... idk, Canadian? I don't notice my own accent, but I've been told I have one. I've also been told by several people I sound faintly british. o.O
I can tolerate most accents as long as I can understand them, and there aren't really any that get on my nerves unless they're incredibly thick. -shrug-

I like the accents from Australia and New Zealand. I pretty much like all accents, but when people with British accents cuss I get scared. Like, really scared.
