Hey. :3 Do you mean where do you get the code to mess with to hex? First you need a hexing program; I use ResHack, because it's incredibly easy. You can get it here: www.programmersheaven.com/zone16/cat1054/16956.htmOnce you get it set up an installed, you open the file you want to hex with it. I hex from breedfiles, so I go into the Ubisoft folder and pull up the breed I want to hex. You should make backups of all the breeds, and your adopted cats, and put them into another folder first, though.

Actually it is quite simple, however, you should have a bit of patience to beable to follow tutorials (found in a thread at the top of this hexing board). I think you should try it, even if it sounds difficult, because it really isn't.
Just understand that no one is totally great for their first time. Try to start with simple things like ball colours first. Thats how i started and now look at me, I am hexing breedz.

*Nods at what Genuine Kennels said* It's truly not hard once you get a good tutorial. It took me about three or four days to learn it well enough to do all sorts of things; like sticking one breed's ears on another, making tails bigger or smaller, editing addballs, etc etc. You just need to be persistant. :3

:3 There's a great color chart here: www.ravenklaw.com/rpp/colors.htmEDIT: This'll eb for breedfiles since... I'm a failure at hexing individual pets. XD Once you have ResHack open, click 'open' under file and go into Ubi Soft --> Studio Mythos --> Petz5 -->Resource --> (Catz/Dogz). Then change the dropdown file menu to 'all files', and the breed files show up. Choose the one you want to hex, and hit open (or double click), and you should suddently get a bunch of folders on the left frame of ResHack. Click 'LNZ', and the the first of those folders that drops from it, then click the file that has a little flower-like symbol next to it. That's the main file to use for hexing. This tutorial is excellent and explains what the different section and numbers are for: www.angelfire.com/moon2/petzzoo2/id27.htmAs long as you have backups of everything (including your adopted pets) made, you should be fine to mess around and practice. All you have to do is copy and paste the backup breeds into the main folder once you want to have everything back to normal. Some tips: 1.) In addition to having backups of your pets, you might want to remove them from your adopted pets folder entirely. Makes the game load much faster so you can check changes. 2.) Try doing color changes first. They're the easiest to see and do. 3.) Download PetzA, so you can see what your hexed creations look like at all ages. Good luck. :3
