^Well you're doing better than me! I got VMWare and windows 98 se running, but it has no sound, and I have as of yet to get something installed on it. I think I still need to tweak some settings. I used a preconfigured VMware machine file as it was easier rather than through an iso so I didn't really go through that much of setting it up other than installing the CD and the problems of getting VMware working at all X3 VMware is good for me as you can drag and drop files in unlike virtual box. But yea I think you just need to get the right configuration, seems strange there is no sound though as that is something you would expect at set up.

Exactly, but it seems a common problem. Sadly, the fix is a driver, which I cannot fully install without the CD Rom. I keep thinking I'm making headway, then I bump head-on into another wall. *rubs forehead*
May I ask where you got the preconfigured VMWare file? I thought I grabbed one from WinWorld, but I can't figure where/how to install. The VMWare Workstation keeps asking for an .iso when creating a new player. (hits wall again)

(hits wall again) I got mine from Winworld too. I can't remember how exactly I installed it but I think I just opened it through file open rather than clicking new machine. it was not through the iso option at least or the disc one. Hopefully you will eventually find a way to get it working XP

^Got it! *dances in chair* Finally. Thanks to you, griffy ! If I hadn't tried to find another way to open that simple file, I wouldn't have had it working. I started off with the full bootable version. I went around my elbow to get to my thumb. Well, at least now I can play Oddballz on my new system, but that doesn't help anyone with the Windows 10 issue... I guess for anyone this is the only way?

Yea I think its the only way through an emulator unless you have 32 bit windows ;p Oh and I made some screen captured video footage of me playing the game lol in case anyone was interested. This was before I installed some more breeds.

Cute video griffy, thanks for sharing! I have my Zott out playing right now, I missed this game so much! Definitely worth it Thor! I have also been playing games I have had on a shelf as "outdated" for a decade or more. I am truly excited about this, I wish I had known about it sooner. As long as you have the actual game CDs, it's so easy to get it working. It's like having an old Windows 98 computer within your up-to-date computer. Virtual Life is Goooood.
