It's nearing the end of the first month of Petz Show Club's opening! Here are our stats in just under the first month! - 400 registered petz - 448 opened shows - 2,231 placements in shows - 105 petz have earned their SGCh At the end of February, the (first) Member of the Month will be announced! The member who has shown the most petz, opened/judged the most shows, earned the most SGCh, etc. will be counted to find who will be chosen as the Member of the Month!! Official Update of the Petz Show Botdiscord.gg/QKq9ypCwpjI added a few nifty features to the bot today! - The command for listing all the unjudged shows will now display how many petz have entered in the show already! - To further help you, if you see a ✅ next to a show name, that means you already have a pet entered in that show! - And if you are the judge of the show, you will see a ⚖ - A new command to remove your petz from shows has also been added to help those folks who've accidentally entered in the wrong pet or the wrong pose  See the news and pinned posts in each channel for usage, examples, and more!

Petz Show Club has a WebsitePetz Show Club has a prototype website! It's currently just going to be a read-only website; you'll have to sign up to the Discord if you want to show in the Club. This is very much so a work in progress-- but I figured I'd publish what I have so far: thorzpetz.neocities.org/PetzShowClub/Right now, the Members page let's you browse members and you can even search for prefixes! (I just need people to update their information first....) thorzpetz.neocities.org/PetzShowClub/members/And clicking on a member's name brings you to their kennel. You can use the table at the top to search through their petz! More data to come!

Small UpdatesThe show club has been going really strong! With, - 119 members joined - 1,402 registered petz - 594 petz have earned SGCh - 1,698 shows have been hosted - with 11,028 petz entries in the life of the club! Last month's Member of the Month was shaina @ kizmet ! And in May we have a new Member of the Month: Emmer ! The members who hosted the most shows! shaina @ kizmet with 48 Emmer with 38 Shade with 29 The members who entered petz in the most shows! Emmer with 217 shaina @ kizmet with 200 commander with 190 And I did some minor bug fixes on the bot; The next update, I plan on adding some more "modern Discord" UI stuff!! I'm really excited; feel free to reply if you have any questions or what you want to see from the club soon :)

Bot UpdatedMy Discord bot now has slash (/) commands! It's no longer an archaic thing from 2016... but I've programmed it into the year 2024. With slash commands, you don't have to memorize anything-- just type / in a channel and it'll show all the commands for the bot (wow, amazing) The bot still tracks your petz and points for you, making it a fun and easy way to start showing in the community! And since its Discord, its pretty easy to show from your phone! discord.gg/QKq9ypCwpj

If you have petz that are absolutely not into showing.... but you want some show titles!  Petz Citizen is not new to PKC, tons of other clubs and websites have hosted their own version, but this is a direct copy/paste with minor edits from PKC (with permission from PKC): pkcrebooted.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=30861.0I also consulted with several previous PKC Petz Citizen judges who were kind enough to give me some feedback and offer help. Thank you to: Kai/Lyn, Jinja, Supernova, toto, Elf, Salem, Buck, Vanilla, Amy @ Maplewood KennelsWhile the titles are the same as PKC's, the bot recording this will only know about the titles earned at Petz Show Club. Any other titles earned in other clubs, spaces, forums, etc. are not recorded by the bot (so you can earn ALL the titles everywhere for more Petz fun!! <3). |

The inspiration for this event comes from PKC’s Yearly Holiday Wishlists. I wanted to bring back the tradition here and spread some holiday cheer amongst members of Petz Show Club. Everyone posts in the linked thread their holiday wishlist-- a list of things they would like to receive from other members as holiday gifts. Usually what people put in their wishlist threads are hexed/bred petz, but you can put anything you want (art, stamps, trading cards, other file types, etc.). You can be specific as you want, listing types of breeds you tend to show or a specific bred pet you are looking to show (NIB PB 8th Gen Dalmatian for example) or petz with SGCh. pedigrees, etc. You are allowed to link to your website or another forum that has your entire wishlist if you’d like! Once people start posting their wishlists, any member can start making/giving gifts! You do not have to send a pet to every single person who has a wishlist! The point of this is to pick and choose wishlists you think that you can grant wishes for. And you can still participate if you don’t hex! Some folks enjoy bred petz as well, so don’t feel that you can’t join if you can’t hex. |
