It will be rough when the day comes. We scheduled it for the 6th. I would have sooner but the vet is out of town. They do home visits, so I feel this is best for her to go at home.

I had it planned for the 6th, but my family came over to visit this weekend and we found out yesterday my niece has covid, and now I'm not feeling so great (will take a test tomorrow), so it looks like I have to delay her appointment further.

So an update. I got covid. Tested positive Tuesday, so I couldn't have the vet come over. I had to keep her downstairs away from me. She seems to be doing okay so far. Not great, but not terrible. I'm holding off until I can make a decision.

In the mean time I give her steroid medication that she hates and fights me every time, but it seems to help.
