I don't really make clothes quite yet...I've mostly only edited bandanas I had permission to tweak colors/textures to. I've made quite a few, and they ALL show up as the same icon in the Clothes Closet...and it makes finding the right one difficult.
I was wondering how you make the sprites to show them properly in the closet. I assumed you could do it in LNZPro, but taking a peek in there, it doesn't look like it? Do I need something else?
Thank you for the help!

Okay, I have never tried to hex clothes/toys (I think it's a bit beyond me, lol) but Carolyn has a tutorial here that should help! I also found some discussion here of toy hexing that may be useful (if it is indeed a similar process to hexing clothes).

I know, right? I want to make my own toys someday but it looks far more complicated than Petz hexing. :\
I do struggle to follow Carolyn's tutorials a lot of the time...I really don't know why. But from what I can gather of the thing you showed me...I'm not sure it's going to be much help. It talks like I should have half a clue what I'm doing already xD I don't really...know what to take from this or what to do, and it seems like I'm missing part of a step. Like, how to import my image into the file (if that's even what you do) to tell it where to FIND the image I need...
I don't know...it's extremely confusing and I'm not sure if it's what I need?
I also truly don't know if toy hexing and clothes hexing info can be...interchangeable, if that's the word I'm looking for. Some of the info regarding the toy hexing doesn't match up with clothing files.
Thank you for the help...I'm just not sure if this is quite right xDD And if it IS, I'm not understanding...

Hi Lily! You're going to need a program called Tinker to edit the Clothes Closet sprite. You can download it here: www.sherlocksoftware.org/page.php?id=15Just load the program, open up the .clo file, and you will be able to see the sprites it contains. You can then export them, edit them in a photo editing program, and import them back in! ^^

Buck's tutorials helped me clothes, if Youtube and watching videos helps you, here's a visual tutorial: youtu.be/GC9dxtwtQWM?t=657I timestamped the Tinker part. I hope this helps! Edit: I do struggle to follow Carolyn's tutorials a lot of the time...I really don't know why. I feel this when I was trying to learn a CSS framework that uses Javascript. It was overwhelming and written in a way that like I felt the tutorial assumed I knew more than I did. I think that pet, toy, and clothes hexing was pretty similar to each other since I use LNZPro to do them. Clothes hexing is the closest to pet hexing because it's similar to LNZ, addballz, ballz, linez. It's just recoloring things mostly. Toy hexing is annoying because you have to make the images and import them with Tinker and making each animation frame takes ages and I hate it. If you have any questions, feel free to message me any time :) I am good via email/discord/private messages.
