Hey, I'm Kit or Plush, I use they/them and she/her pronouns. I grew up playing P.F. Magic's Petz and was excited when they started making portable game--only to be horribly disappointed when they were all just bad rip offs of Nintendogs without the quirky silliness of the old Petz.

Recently I started getting back into my childhood 90s stuff, like collecting old tamagotchi, digimon, and giga pet v-pets. I also got into the new furby customizing silliness, although my partners are terrified of furbies and won't let me keep them in the apartment, lol. I figured I would try again to play then old Petz, since the last time I tried (on Win XP) it was incredibly broken. This time (Win 10) it booted like a dream with the PetzA fixes. I'm a bit sad I don't have my old petz, but now I'll just have to start again and breed up some monstrous rainbow glitter cryptids this time.

flowers: i think it's more of an umbrella policy against any forms of piracy. it is abandonware but definitely not public domain or released free. the classic petz games are in a fun legal limbo. but even if u cant buy it anymore, ea owns it so its still piracy :/ Jul 30, 2024 20:35:07 GMT -5
