It's been a really long time since I last made a site and I don't remember how to do this or what it's called. Basically, I want the menu buttons to change the content of the main page div. For example, if I click on "downloads", it would change the main area to the downloads page, keeping the background pattern and everything.
I know people used to use iframes but I'm pretty sure there was a way to do this in javascript? And that it had a name? Please help me remember this! Even just the name would be helpful so I Google it. Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know the trick that you're talking about unless it's a java script menu that you link to from every page? Kind of like an external CSS file. Maybe if you poke though www.w3schools.com/ find it if it's a command and not a pre-made script. My apologies for not being much help... I haven't work with JavaScript in over 15 years. ^_^;

W3schools was not much help, the one thing I found sounds (from a Google search) like it's no longer recommended. I did end up figuring it out! Thank you And don't worry, I almost never use javascript either
