My current WIP. This is the one that my first Petz was named after. Spekles. Aka Speckles She was my first cat ever. The original photos are from my old 110CN camera. Not the best, but at least I have them <3 Stripped Calico Base by pinto Things I noticed that I need to change, that I know how to do: Change whiskers to white. Add paintball in 60 onto the back of each front ankle. My questions: Maybe tinker with the tail colors again... I'm not sure if i should add a ring or not.... Are rings just paintballs all the way around the tail? I simplified her back patches quite a bit, did I do it too much? What could I do to make the dark patches on her face better? The lower balls for the ears have me puzzled. Other suggestions are welcome as well :-)

Nice job, you have a lot more patience with paintballs than I do.
I think the tail looks good as-is, but if you wanted to do rings, yeah they're just paintballs all the way around. With smaller balls it's better to overlap each paintball so you don't get any gaps
I think the patches are great, they don't look simplified looks really close to the original.
It's hard getting paintballs on the face to show up right with the cheek and ear balls covering them in some angles. You might be able to add some black paintballs on the top of the cheek ball to help. I don't know that file but from the images it looks like the outer ear ball is pulled lower, so you might be able to color those black or add paintballs to help with her face markings. If it colors the ear line black you can swap the start ball and the end ball in LNZ so the line takes the white ball color. Might not be what you're looking for. I think you could still add more black paintballs directly behind the eye and get some more black to show up that's not blocked by the ear ball/line. If you're allowed to move the ballz on that file, you could try to move the outer ear ball back so it pops behind the cheek. It might stop blockign the space you need on the head.
Hope you figure out something you like

Not a whole lot has changed. I ended up shrinking the inner balls for the ears and putting a black patch on them rather than moving them I also added one more black patch above and behind the left eye. That small tweak was enough. :-) The whiskers colors were changed to 15 and added the patch of 60 on her front ankles. midnightwolf I did the paintballs in small sessions over about 4 days. I've wanted a catz file that looked like her for the whole time that I've played petz, so I was worth all the tinkering :-) I'm not sure that I'll ever do it again though. And after thinking about it, I decided to go with your suggestion of leaving the other ring off the tail. If I were to add another one it would be an even number of 'rings', and bug me. Thanks a bunch for the information, I'll probably put it to use someday in another project.

Sasha I'm amazed that I got her that close. <3 I've had some really good hexing teachers :-) And the wonders of Petz Workshop.
