Has anyone had this issue? I can "take" a picture but when I click "Save" nothing happens. I have to hit the ESC key to get the photo window away. But auto-save photos does work. Not sure what made this problem start but my 3 year old was playing earlier, who knows what he did! I also tried restarting already.

I read in one of the discords you can only save like 225 photos saved. Could this be the issue?

^ You would still be able to bring up the windows explorer window where you select a directory to save to (Petz Pix by default). Normally it reads what the last Petz*.bmp in Petz Pix is and the autofilled name for the file in the windows explorer save window/menu will be generated accordingly. But it can't go past 256 and will suggest each new pic be Petz256.bmp (or 255 I guess, but, same difference) even if it already exists. This doesn't stop you from saving pics, you just have to change the autofilled name to something else.
Anyway - what a weird issue! Have you tried tinkering with the standard options for saving pics through PetzA? And rebooting the PC (not just the game), maybe?

I definitely have thousand of pics but they're all in subfolders. Upon further tinkering in the last few days, the problem is actually weirder than I initially thought. Auto-save pics works fine, and now I realize that if I turn off auto-save and click the save button, I can type a file name and hit enter and it'll save like normal. I just can't SEE the "name the file" dialogue box. Super odd. Always the issues caused by kids abusing software are the hardest to figure out for me lol! Ultimately it still *works* just is kinda annoying. Thanks for the suggestions friends!!

Always the issues caused by kids abusing software are the hardest to figure out for me lol! That's me, but with cats. xDD A couple years ago, one of my cats jumped onto my keyboard and scrambled around before I could stop her, and ran off. Next thing I know, my computer is reading aloud EVERY SENTENCE I TYPE. I did not know it could do that. I then had to go on an awkwardly narrated Google adventure to figure out how to make it stop. Good times. STILL don't know how she did that. x'DDD
