So I had a bit of a stressful day and wanted to relax. I thought playing with a pet I won just this morning (from the flea market) would be nice. It turned out to be a bit of a silly time. But back to the pet. Her name is Desert, she's from LF. Obviously, she isn't the main focus of this story based on the title. We'll get to that. Desert is super pretty and cute (at least to me, but I'm a sucker for textured brown cats, don't know why).
Very nice right? I was thinking she would be nice to show and breed. There was one major problem with showing though. Not because I got her off the flea market, oh no, I know LF's prefix and I actually show a cat from LF. But, because whenever I try to pose her, she does one of three things.
Yeah, no that's not gonna work. Pretty as she is, if she can't do the standard pose, then the chances of being shown are slim. I don't know what kind of personality or trait causes this. I noticed it in another cat like her as well, and realized I might be a bit lucky to have Felter (More on him in a second). But that's okay, I can still breed her, Although there is a slight problem there as well. Her meow, as dumb as this seems, sounds awful. It is rough and shrill and I really don't want that to pass down.
So I decide to go ahead and breed her to my show kitty Felter (From CMC).
They don't get along, but PetzA is a wonderful tool. So, the kittens. There's three of them total.

Cute! But not what I'm looking for. | Uhh, what. | Wut. |

A handsome boy, if an unflattering picture.

An interesting lineup, with lots to explore. I didn't realize at first, but only Tundra got the fluffy tail style, which is honestly kind of disappointing. One thing I do immediately notice is Prairie's eyes. They're a lovely pink, that I wasn't expecting. Prairie is also the only one who got the texture I was looking for, though the brown socks aren't perfect. The first thing I check is their voices, it's not the end of the world if they don't have a nice meow but it is annoying. I got lucky, none of them have it quite as bad as their mother. Marsh sounds like their father, Tundra like a nicer version of their mother, and Prairie...Prairie sounds like neither.
In fact Prairie doesn't sound at all. Prairie is mute.
Better than sounding awful, I guess. I love her all the same. So, of course the next thing I check, (after my standard brushing and luvs treat, customary for all new animals) is her posing ability.
She seems confused at first.

Very confused. Then uninterested.
But this is good, I recognize that move. I think she'll pose. Then...
Ahah!
Ahah!
This isn't a good show picture, but it means she'll pose. Looks like I'll be adding a new show kitty to my lineup after all.
What about Marsh? Well,
Marsh has the sleepy sickness, which I can fix with LNZ or I can just work around, like I do with one of my other cats. But she also poses (and has a lot of attitude, Marsh is the scrappiest of the lot). She fought a lot before finally posing.
Again, not a good show pose, but proof of ability.

Well this is great, I've got some lovely new cats to work with that I bred myself. Wonderful!
Oh, but what about Tundra. Look Tundra is a very pretty kitty, and the largest of them, but ah...When I went to pose him, it seems like he might do it but before I could get him to, he reared back a bit and slammed his head directly into the floor with a thunk in response to me taking a picture of him. I didn't know this was possible, and needless to say it startled me. So I just put him away. Maybe sometime else, in a environment.

Anyway, thanks for reading through my silly late night adventure!
