Just started hexing, and I've been trying my best to make this lil day gecko lad! Definitely needs some more tweaking and paintballs, but the main issue is the belly isn't getting any texture! I've trawled through the file on LNZ Pro and I can't seem to figure anything out. The only thing that has worked is deleting the pale yellow ballz and remaking them, but I'd prefer not to redo all the jaw work :''') Are there any reason these particular ballz would be resisting being textured? I am texturing with outside files in my Resources\Catz folder. He's so proud of his squishy lil gecko self.... But I would love to finish out his textures. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Will probably offer a few customs of these lads if anyone happens to be interested once I can get him worked out

Oh my gosh he's so cute, I love him! And the tail textures are awesome! Nice job!! <3 This is an easy one, actually! ^^ The pale yellow color you used doesn't texture. This means that if you apply a texture to it, or try to use a texture as-is on top of it...it won't work. Change the color to anything between 10-149 as all of those texture, and apply whatever texture you like. It should work!

Thank you so much!!! Babey has belly scales now You're a lifesaver I never would have guessed that was the issue :') Is there also a way to texture the lines between ballz?

Hmm. Typically when you apply a texture to two ballz, the line between them automatically takes that texture. Unless you changed the color of the lines, then they tend to get stuck. xD If that happens, there's two ways you can try to fix it. Do you know how to use LNZPro? That would be the easiest (and I could help) if you want to try it there.
Back before I knew how to do that, I would delete the untextured linez in Pet Workshop, and re-create them, but that alters the thickness/fuzziness/whatever other tweaks were made, and isn't really ideal.
In LNZPro, you'd just have to look under the [Lines] category, locate the line that isn't texturing properly, and apply the correct texture number to it.
If you want help, tell me one of the lines you're having a problem with (which ballz is it between?) and let me know your texture list (mainly what order they're in...they start from 0 and count up!) and then tell me which one you want for that line. Aaaand let me see the [Lines] section. I can point out what needs to change. ^^
Also, is this file based on a dog or cat? (Since the ball numbers are different for each)
If you know how to do this in LNZPro, disregard all that. x'DD

If you get into LNZ Pro and need to specifically texture a line differently, you can set it. Otherwise they should be set at -1 to take the texture of the balls between. If you want the texture to flow from one to another the other way, reverse the start and end ^^ Example: 43, 40, 1, -1, -1, -1, 100, 100 ;Rthigh/Rknee 43 is the R Hip, 40 is the R Knee. The line starts at the hip and goes to the knee, ending there. The next number is fuzz, which you won't want on a lizard The next number (-1) is the texture. If for some reason you need a line between two ballz to be different than either one. If you want the colour to run from the knee to the hip, just flip the numbers so it looks like this: 40, 43, 1, -1, -1, -1, 100, 100 ;Rthigh/Rknee Then the colour will go the other way, which is great for doing some dog markings like creeping tan and urajiro! Hope I helped ^^

CatCreature @alexzander@Királyi (is @ ing folks appropriate on this forum? If not my apologies!) I used a combo of y'all's advice and deleted/remade some in PWS and reset values to -1 in LNZPro and everything's shipshape now. Thank you both for helping out this newbie :')

Yup, tagging is totally okay as far as I know :3 Glad it worked for you! I'm too old to use PW too much other than making paintballz xD I still do addball building manually in LNZ like an old fart circa 2006 lmaoooo
