When you get so many kittens that look alike what do you do with the copies? If I could find my pet files I'd put them up for adoption, but I can't. That folder is hidden.

Hm the folders shouldn't be hidden, that's a strange thing to happen. I do remember it happening to me though on my Windows 7... It's petz 5, isn't it? Did you install the game in program files? Dang it I forgot how I fixed it. DX
In the mean time you could use the return pet option in game to clear out your petz? Don't worry this won't delete them, once we can figure out what's causing your petz files to be hidden you'll be able to find them all in the 'returned petz' folder safe and well.

To answer your original question, yes, normally I'd put them, or some of them up for adoption and probably delete the rest, or otherwise just delete all of the look-a-likes. Putting them up for adoption gives plenty of people a chance to have a pet of that similar coloring/pattern/etc, while deleting them keeps there from being an overflow of the same looking types of petz all over the place. It's up to you really, whatever you want to do with them, as long as they're not an ACTUAL copy of the same .pet file, but I doubt that's what you're referring to. If you manage to solve the hidden files problem, I'd suggest reinstalling your game anywhere else outside of Program Files if that's where it is currently installed to. Petz doesn't seem to like being installed in the Program Files folder in newer operating systems (Vista, 7, 8, 10). Have you looked at this thread? petzforum.proboards.com/thread/224/windows-7-vista-petz I know it's mostly aimed at Vista users and you more likely have Windows 8 or 10, but it might be of some help.

Good news. I was able to locate the folder and upload them to one drive! Thanks for all your help!
