Quail is still friskier and lively than ever! I love her keen enthusiastic temperament, she's my favourite meat eatin, toy shaking, rambunctious little tom-boy lass xP She's now 57 on the brainslider, 7 months old and filling in nicely She loves chowing down on some fish. I know I haven't been doing any competitions with her or shows, but I will start, she deserves a chance to shine and show off her talents I noticed although Quail was still doing great she had fleas pretty bad! all sorts of fleas in her fur and she was itching, so I gave her just enough flea spray to get rid of those nasty buggers
Quail: Oof, it's smelly! and what a surprising sound!
Quail was taken back but I assured her everything was okay
MsWildiful: It's fine, it'll help you stop itching, that's all it takes and now you should feel better She'll be grateful Perhaps I should work on exposing her to more sounds and elements so she won't be as scared in the future. MsWildiful: I may grant you one wish Quail: I wish for a fun bowl of fish!
MsWildiful: Granted, but I'm just kidding you can have infinite wishes Quail happily scarfed down the fish, she was cheeky as she carried around the bowl and posed with it, she knows she can have as many wishes as she wants granted by me <3 She's also playful with her food, play-bowing at it and carrying the bowl around, don't spill the fish Quail! you're gonna get fish slime on the floor, Mopella works hard to keep this floor clean! xD As you can see I decided to dress her up with a lovely Turquoise ribbon and now she's chipper in it She seems to be liking it.
I think I'll do the Stick Catching challenge with Quail today , she's energetic and she likes catching the Frisbee so I bet she'd do really good catching a stick! but it may be tricky, she can master it let's give it a try The backyard is such a warm inviting place to run through the grasses and chase sticks! I think Quail would agree.
That's the spirit! She already picked up a stick and she's ready for some stick action. Are you ready to chase and catch a stick Quail?
Quail: Sticks don't fly, but I can jump high so I'll try! right after I finish licking this soccer ball
Jeez xD
So I gave the stick a mighty strong throw, it dazzled around in the air, Quail readied herself and wiggled her bum and got ready to pounce... She finally caught the stick! hooray! You did it on your first try! I'm proud of you.
Quail: Yay! it tastes like tree, I love catching things. Quail looked so pleased
We did some more Stick catching I guess you would call it? This may actually be a new sport to the Petz community but I'm not sure how many Dogz would be good at it. Either way, it's a ball! Quail tried again but missed it
Quail: Bollocks, the Stick escaped my snout! Grrrr
Pretty sure she only managed to catch the stick once, but it was a huge stick throwing frenzy! As you can see in this image first is where she missed catching the stick, aww xD And then she became really riled up and energetic because I was tossing the stick everywhere and she loved seeing it soar through the sky, after that she got really exhausted as she panted like "I'm shattered, I've gave the stick my best shot, no more stick please! I need some food for fuel!" Lol, we had fun. I suppose she got lucky the first time, maybe tomorrow she'll have better luck

10.12.2018. Quail is 75 on the brainslider and she's around 9 months old, my how she's grown! I sure have missed playing with her, and she's even more fun and darling than I remember ^_^ Quail: *Pants. I'm so happy to see you today! and I'm happy to see this tasty fish too. Quail had alot of fun frolicking and romping around carrying the meat and sticks today before I introduced her to Reeses. I just love her, how could I not love that?! She was bred by me, she loves eating fresh fish and meat, pouncing, and chasing frisbees. For the most part she's always been a bit on the spunky side, although when she was a young pup she was on the shyer side like Reeses. Now she's all athletic muscle, and a bit sassy, she feels that she deserves my love and food, and she does <3 but she's not too happy about sharing attention with other petz, but she'll get used to it. I wouldn't call her aggressive, just competitive. I wonder how she'll react to my new tiny puppy Reeses, after all Reeses is such a cute little puppy and not at all intimidating, maybe she'll feel a bit nurturing and want to be his mentor or sister. First I made sure both Reeses and Quail were well fed so they feel no survival or food aggression from hunger, don't want any hangry dogz making a bad first impression now do we? Quail also just loves to loll her tongue and pant, alot of the dogs I bred do for some reason So Quail seemed so amused by the size difference between her and Reeses, it was lovely how docile she was towards him <3 She even curled up for a nap after greeting Reeses. she lacked any territorial-ness so they might become sweet friends Awww. Also I noticed chubby little Reeses is sneezing, he may have a little cold so I gave him some medicine in his meat that helped him Quail and Reeses romped around together in the pleasant fields, Quail leaped to her paws when she saw I sent the Frisbee flying and she managed to catch it once! Reeses is still too tiny for Frisbee, but he likes the stick. Highlights: Quail meeting Reeses. Quail: "Why are you so smol?" Reeses: "I'm declared a pupper" Quail lolling her tongue holding the Frisbee Quail getting so excited to see me that she danced over her food

Age 89 on the brainslider. I hope nobody minds that I post these double doggy duo updates on both of my natural raising threads, I just feel like it's an update on both dogs so it should go on both threads
I figured some good exercise for Reeses and Quail would be good today, especially considering Reeses is one plump pupper and exercise makes all dogs feel lively and springy and cultivates a good mental and physical state Reeses was fed some tasty juicy meat for breakfast, he's still so soft and I'm having alot of fun raising him <3
I also recited some trickz with him <3 He did some delightful roll overs, and he played dead, and the feisty little guy even tried to jump up and hold onto the treat! Both dogs were satisfied and playful I took them out together, they ignored each other at first, but then they zoomed after the auto-ball together and it was like an autoball competition of some sort, haha I'm so glad Quail gets along with him, she's too sassy towards other petz sometimes xD and she's grown so much, it'll only be few days until she's old enough to compete in shows! I can't wait! They ran together, They tripped/frightened together they played together Reeses played leisurely and calmly as he followed the auto-ball, but Quail was in a different mindset as frustration rolled over her, I could see it in her eyes as she pawed at the Auto-ball, she was getting annoyed she couldn't catch it I suppose Or maybe it was the sound it was making that cheesed her off, who knows. Reeses: Ms Quail, are you okay? this is suppose to be fun Quail: Dagnabbit, I'm sick of this folly Auto-ball, it's making me fervently ill! I was just happy she wasn't making those angry eyes at Reeses They dashed off after the Auto-ball together. Then Reeses snagged it!
Reeses: Mehehehe, it's all mine! and it's turning in my mouth, it wants to roll away! I don't think Quail liked that, but she didn't bamboozle him, eventually she pounced on the auto-ball, securing it for herself. Quail also decided to affectionately groom Reeses at one point for a second, I couldn't get a good picture but it was so sweet! (Gosh I didn't even consider the possibility of them falling in love one day when Reeses grows up, the age difference though, gosh what would their babies look like xP Ahhhh <3) Ahem, moving on xD They had a great time, but then I glanced at my watch and realised it was time for Reeses to go visit Buck for him to participate in the Fall Fashion Playgroup, so I chaperoned him over there, I'm sure Quail will miss him, I know I will

Such a sweet morning, time to play with Quail She's a very frisky frivolous lassie, almost grown now at 93 on the brainsldier. she has good potential as a show-dog, a sporty competitive dog, but most importantly a sweet kind companion canine! Today she was eager to eat her fish breakfast like always, but this time she did a handstand! It was such a lovely surprise, I rewarded her by bestowing a pretty blue collar upon her, she seemed to like! Today she liked playing tug with the water-bowl, and then she rolled around with it on the floor splashing water everywhere! I hope she's always this playful and interactive with her surroundings x3 at this rate I could encourage her to do anything. One thing she does have in common with my other dog Reeses is she loves to jump around in circles energetically, reminds me of myself honestly, I love being energetic X3 You may notice that Quail is a little on the lean side, this is the healthiest weight for her to maintain in order to be fit and live the longest <3 Studies have shown the leanest dogs are healthier than all other dog body condition types, so she can better excel at agile sports. I feed her enough, as she eats as much as she wants so perhaps it's her nature and genetics to have a leaner physique. Go Quail Did I mention those ears though? she's grown some fox-like ears, they look really exaggerated from the side view they're taller than ever. She also got to socialize with her house-mates Duncan and Acadia a little bit while they ate together, they barked at each-other a decent amount but tolerated each other okay I feel bad for not playing with Duncan and Acadia for so long so I'll definitely be dedicating some time to them soon, and giving them some one on one attention <3 I think it's just overwhelming thinking I have to bring them all out together and capture every significant cute or fun moment so it'll be better this way, and they'll still get social time So I seen a wicker basket sitting in one of my rooms and I thought, let's just pop Quail in it and see how she likes it She seemed so fond of it, she kept yawning and sticking her tongue out as it made her sleepy <3 She also drank some Chicken soup, she enjoyed it and held her belly when she was full. But she can't be that tired, so let's do something more energetic and try some fly-ball with Quail She didn't want to leave the basket xP but she finally jumped out. So we went to the backyard, and I was pleasantly surprised by Quail's fly-ball skills! She easily cooperated when I encouraged her to hold the ball, and she jumped through the hoop with no problem! Jolly good lass, she can do it the other way without the ball but sometimes she doesn't want to give me the ball xD MsWildiful: How'd you get so good at Fly-ball? Quail: *Pokemon theme-song. I want to be the very best... so I learned human gibberish writing and read the rules and decided I shall become a Fly-ball master! MsWildiful: That's called language, but yes! you have a dream, follow your dream, soar through the sky into victory Quail! you can do anything I'm so looking forward to doing some Fly-ball trials with her now

Acadia is 42 on the brainslider, today she was pretty decisive about which food she wanted to eat before she finally settled on kibble, then changed her mind and ate some meat xD She then scurried around and licked a squirrel plushie, lol but she also did a handstand so yay! she was real bouncy and bubbly
Awww, she's panting. I love it when Dogz pant, don't ask me why, maybe I like to see their unrealistically red tongue? xD she seemed springy with a healthy supply of curiosity, and today she was going to learn a trick I just love those grey eyes of hers, so full of wonder and mysteriousness, and also love <3 I took her out to the backyard for the very first time, and did you know the little squirt strutted around like she owned the place? she was a little poodle-like I dare say, and she was posing with great peppiness. Acadia: I declare this land belongs to Acadia the dotted pupperino, I shall rightfully claim it with a prance
I should of called her peppermint xD that could be her showname. Basically as she trotted around it looked like she welled with so much random pride that she was overposing as she was walking or something, how silly.
She didn't know what to think of the hoop, she looked at me like I was nuts and didn't feel like jumping through it yet lol
Acadia: errr, this hoop's giving me collywobbles!. MsWildiful: trust me! it's safe. Acadia: I trust you, I just don't trust that hoop!
xP then I pulled out some yellow treats and got her to wave a couple times, her wave training is coming along nicely

Oh my, it's been so long since I updated this thread! there's actually a little more updates on Quail on my "Reeses' Pup" thread starring my other pupper, anyway...Today I chose to spend some one-on-one time with Quail to practice her posing skills, at first she seemed a bit under-the weather. Quail:My head feels foggy like a water-fall, but I haven't been around any water-falls that could have let the fog creep in? MsWildiful: I think I know just what you need... Quail: Aha! an inviting bowl of salmon, but something smells unnaturally fishy... I was hoping it would be yummy for my tummy but alas, something seems funny, what is it? MsWildiful: It's medicine my darling, hopefully it'll clear up your head. Quail: Blimey, it makes my food taste extraordinarily peculiar... what's in this stuff?... I hope it's worth it so I won't feel so ruff Quail slowly but willingly ate her lunch with her medicine like she should, but not long afterwards she was luckily feeling quintessential good! With an enthusiastic woof Quail declared "The world is my adventure!" After finishing her meal with the medicine in affect she was filled was zest as she dashed, skipped, hopped and frolicked around the lawn, and there was no catnip in the bottle, lol. She found herself taking quite the liking to the athletic soccer ball, she was drawn to it's sportiness and liked pushing it around. Quail: Yippeee! this ball is light as a jar of jelly, I can lift it! MsWildiful: Yay! good-girl Quail, it's really because you're so strong since you're feeling so glad, how about you try and leap through the hoop holding the ball, it would look so rad! So after making a few adjustments and getting the hoop in place Quail delighted me with a good jolly jump I just adore her athletic spirit <3 Oh and there was a few derpy moments when Quail flopped over too, hehe After Quail was tuckered out I practiced some posing with her, the camera-shutter still occasionally scares her but I gave her yellow fishy treats as positive reinforcement when she actually posed instead of pouncing on the treat-box x3 Quail: My prey! muhaha That well defined chest though, it's like Quail is part sighthound Quail also got to spend some time with Reeses, they find it very amusing to wrestle amiably with each other Quail even asked him to play tug-of-war but he was too busy chowing down on some meat. I'm a little rusty with show-posing but I'll continue to practice posing with Quail, refresh my Petz-show-Etiquette, and in the end get a splendid pose of her sometime soon hopefully a dane and a dali pose. Oh, and at some point I treated her with some healthy berries and according to PetzA it made her feel frisky, haha. Also, a while ago when I was playing with Quail and Reeses, Quail decided to just scoop Reeses up in her mouth while he ran around trying to escape like a mouse xD She must have felt like a true predator, I had to capture it with pictures I'm so chuffed to have Quail <3 Reeses too

I'd like to thank everybody who's a follower of my thread, it's been fun to share my adventures and development with Quail as she's grown up ^_^ I now consider Quail to be just shy of 2 Petz-year's old! so I looked at my calendar and realized this was around the same time of year Quail came into my Petzy life, and as of today, May 26th, 2019 she is one real year old She's been one fun little pooch, I admire her bravery and adore her silliness, I've had her since she was a timid little pup, before she blossomed into a poised adventurous tall lassie! I wish she could have got along better with Duncan (sadly not all Petz click D: ) but I'm so happy she loves to play with my special little dog Reeses who takes after my real dog (Which makes them even more special <3) bred by a very nice person named Thor Thank you once again Thor!
Fun-fact about Quail, when she was born I was breeding with some of SexpotLida's hextraordinary breed OWs in game, and if you look at the comparison below, I think you'll agree her ears are influenced from the Bull Terrier Scottie OW either that or Chihuahua, But I'm happy it gave her a sort of coyote-ish look xD It's been interesting seeing her body fill-out. Those fangs are a clothing item by the way, I decided to see how they looked on her, certainly makes her look more primal, haha. So in celebration of her birthday I wanted to see if she could strike a good pose on her special day Quail: I'm not sure how to pose, but I know how to loll my tong-*CLICK Yikes! What in the dickens.. don't keep that one! my eyes were busy being wide open in shock!
So as we can see here, Quail isn't as graceful as she is when she's chasing a ball and acting more natural xD she seems to be a sound sensitive dog since the camera shutter spooks her, but hopefully overtime she'll get used to the camera's click as I praise her when she holds her head up high.
She gave me some good attempts though, unfortunately her legs wasn't aligned, but it shows that she has it in her With a happy belly of fish, a little playtime and posing practice done, I decided to let her meet my newest show-dog, he poses pretty easily so perhaps he could be a good influence on her, so far I've seen him display a pleasantly peaceful and docile attitude towards other Petz and in general so I thought they could be friends It's PRKC's Found A Fun Krugerrand Coin on the scene! Quail seemed very eager to meet him as she rushed over to the orange dog. They gazed at each-other with affectionate glances, but it was all fun and games as they made goofy faces together xD lol Quail seemed a bit stand-offish with the Cat Dancer, I was trying to captivate her prey-drive, but she seemed overall entertained xP Coin decided to stand and wiggle around, so Quail performed a spectacular jump! She likes to show-off especially around others xP She enjoys holding and carrying the towel, while Coin seems fairly interested in everything, but particularly the tin-foil doll in the next picture But most importantly, they enjoy each-other's company ^_^ Yay I planned on letting Quail celebrate her birthday with a squirrel chasing party, but it didn't happen today but I definitely wanna do that soon She strikes me as the type that could be pretty good at it, I also would love to introduce her to some special Lab mixes of mine and let her find her one true love soon <3

<3 Two Petz years old, one real year old, 100 on the brainslider. Little Ms Quail seemed very poised and peppy to try on some new outfit pieces today ^_^ After a good night's rest she was feeling her oats and ready to sport a piece of stylish attire before we go out to play with the squirrels Quail: Arf! I'm like a little deer... with teeth! they won't suspect it's actually a predator beneath these antlers. Baaaa. MsWildiful: You sound like a wooly sheeplike deer xP Quail: Howdy, I'm a courageous hound, I'll stare you down. Quail: Ahh, bristle-y brush, I love your bristle-y strokes! Quail: Hmmf, this red flower makes my nose feel itchy! but the bleu one is so fun!... I think the peach-pink one is just right MsWildiful: I think so too! But I have one more thing I think you'll love Quail: Oh that's just perfect! this green collar fits me great! YIPPEEEE Quail spent some time with her beloved adopted brother Reeses, they were sweet and got along as usual <3 Reeses seemed to be particularly fascinated with the stick, and liked to push it around and bite it ^_^ Then he sat up like a precious little meerkat, which I was tickled over because I've trained my real dog to beg and it reminded me of him <3 I see why they named him Reeses, because he's so sweet. Quail had a lovely outing in the backyard and pranced around with the stick much like her brother. Quail: I'll show those squirrels, they'll be trembling when they see I can bite them like this stick!... Woah, that's a squirrel? it's so wiggly... and it's gone MsWildiful: Oh don't worry honey, I'm sure you'll get to play and razzle them up someday, for now let's play Frisbee! So without another squirrel in sight, and with some patience Quail successfully caught a couple Frisbees! Jolly good lassie ^_^ I think one day she'll be a very good hunter when we encounter more mice and squirrels

Yesterday I practiced encouraging Quail and Reeses to compete in flyball. Flyball is a sport run over at Duke's were you start a timer and encourage your dog or cat to jump through a hoop on the left side of it, then you try and get them to pick up any kind of ball and get them to jump back through it holding the ball, you're awarded points based on how many minutes it takes for them to accomplish this. I've always wanted to get my athletic sports-lovin' Quail into Flyball, I think now would be a great time for us to practice! ^ First I let the fun pair play with the Auto-ball together, Reeses insisted on swatting it out of the display case, and he was pretty gutted when Quail held it in her mouth and wouldn't let him have it xD The playful pups also wrestled, Reeses likes jumping in the tall lassie's face Oh and did I mention Reeses is 89 on the brainslider? Blimey, my little puppy is almost all grown up! He's almost old enough to enter traditional dog shows and I've already assigned him the show-name "Thor's One True Treat" Because he was such a sweet little treat from Thor <3 (Thanks again Thor ) Anyway, I didn't know two dogz could hang off of the auto-ball at the same time! So feisty and competitive
I tried to use the auto-ball to practice flyball with them but I couldn't get them to continuously hold it, after-all it would feel weird to hold a rotating gyrating ball in your mouth haha ^ Reeses went first, while Quail tried to align herself to jump, hold your horses Quail! Reeses did pretty good and it didn't take him too long to leap, took him a bit longer to pick the ball up on his second jump though. ^ Go Reeses! Such a jolly good lad ^_^ They're both fans of the soccer-ball, but they really like the stick! Maybe we should make a new sport called "Fly-stick" with all the same rules except the dogz hold sticks when they fly through the hoop xD ^ Quail actually did it faster then Reeses! Good girl Quail, using those lovely long legs to her advantage By the way, I'm currently working on a sketch of Quail using a few charcoal pencils of mine I've had some charcoal pencils for a while now and there's some really brilliant ways you can use them for art, so I was going to watch some videos to learn those techniques and create some fun drawings of my Petz <3

Both Quail and Reeses are now 100 on their brainsliders!
Hooray, oh they grow up so fast <3 but not really because I really dragged out naturally raising them xD They had fun together today, and they get along sort of like brother and sister, they may get a little agitated with each-other but never stay mad, I think they belong together <3
Reeses always likes to watch Quail eat, it's sad watching him whine at her Even though I always try and serve him his food at the same time, I suppose he's a snack spectator xD my real dog does the same thing to our other dog.
It appears he wanted the meaty chunk all along! I added a little medicine to his food to help with his cough, so hopefully he'll be feeling his best for practicing Flyball today Quail couldn't wait to run and romp about in the backyard! She was all over the place, as happy as could be to receive some fresh-air
I held up the hoop and Reeses leaped through, I rolled the tennis ball and Reeses stayed focused and was able to jump back through the hoop holding the ball on his first try! Good boy Reeses! Hopefully he'll really shine in the upcoming Flyball event Thor will be hosting
Reeses may be a small little guy, but his confidence is very big when it comes to flyball moves! Be it a soccer or tennis ball, Reeses seems like he knows what he's doing, maybe flyball is his talent ^_^ He did seem to get a little mad at Quail for running around all erratic while he was trying to practice though xDD
I let Quail practice by herself so Reeses didn't feel like he needed to show out. My girl was a little more hesitant than her brother, she liked to jump through the hoop but preferred it was the side she wanted to jump through (In flyball the pet should jump through the hoop once on the left side, then back through on the right side with a ball)
She also liked holding and wiggling the ball but it didn't come naturally to her to jump through the hoop with the ball! I finally got my frolicsome lassie to bounce through the hoop, and eventually she decided to pick up the tennis ball and I was able to convince her to jump through the hoop holding it, good girl Quail! but next time step up your pep
It seems as though Quail was too free-spirited and goofy to soar like a fly-ball champ, but she was awfully confident around the soccer ball and struck a pose! she could have the makings of a show-dog after-all, I'll have to try posing her in the backyard where she's in her element
Thankfully I was able to capture Quail's silliness above ^ while we were trying to practice for flyball xP Also what is this face?
what's she doing? is she like ready to pounce and ready for fun?! hahaha
On the little more serious side, recently Quail earned her BTD Beginner Trick Dog Title over at Duke's Group! Only 5 tricks were required, but I presented her with 6 to work towards her Intermediate Trick Dog Title
She's been taught wave, roll over, leap left, hoop jump, handstand walk, and cartwheel! I'm proud of her, she learned them quite quickly <3 Little ms Quail also made a new friend! she loves to play with my Great Dane Mia who's the latest addition to my crew, it's nice that she gets to pal around with another dog her size ^_^ Reeses isn't too fond of her though, but I'll get into that in another update haha
