So I am trying to create autonomous ears like on the hexepedia, however when I add balls to the ear they get stuck together and I can't move them around and am unsure why. Anyone know how to fix it? I am editing in Petz Workshop.

Are you basing each new ball from the same ear ball eg ear3? Sounds like you might be adding new addballz based on each other, rather than the same ear ball. Hope that makes sense I gotta stop trying to help right before meetings xP

I can't seem to move paintballs otherwise. Good luck with the meeting.

You mean moving spots around? You'll have to redo it unfortunately. You can't drag paintballs around once they've been placed.

Ah ok I understand. After clicking "Add" but before clicking "Place", you'll need to left click anywhere and drag the camera around to place it. It's not the best because often times other paintballz will go on top and you can't see anything.
Not to go off track and get confusing, but in that situation sometimes I turn just 1 paintball spot into a tattoo and use the manual tattoo placing since you can move your screen in any angle that shows best but the paintball doesn't move.
So there's two ways to do it xP

Ok I clicked add paintball and I clicked somewhere and tried to move the camera around and nothing. It just stays where it has been initially placed, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I made a quick GIF right here showing how paintballz are supposed to work with PWS. Are you doing the same and it's still not working?

I didn't realize the ball was moving because it looks like it is always in the same place on the surface, that's a huge help! Also sorry with the earlier confusion, I'm still learning so I am all over the place, everything is on track now.

haha Nah it's all good. To be honest when I first started using PWS I was hitting every key trying to make that paintball move so I was in the exact spot once upon a time. I'm just glad to see more people getting into hexing again. :)
