Considering I registered back in 2009.. is probably a good idea for me to finally introduce myself!
I've not been a very vocal part of the petz community. I mostly kept to myself but I was active on the forum Spirit Kennelz - the mountain view races and very much enjoyed my time there.
I do have an adoption site which I'd added adoptions over years! So I had a large amount available for adoption but as I've sadly lost everything with my third hard drive death (and the back up hard drive went too >.<) I've had to start again from scratch.
I've personally always had a soft spot for Great Dane and Dalmatian mixies, especially "Harlequin Danes" which I will be working on a line at some point catz wise Alley Catz I just can't say no to! I just love those faces and their attitude.
My plan is to create 8th gen full tree non inbred lines and then to be able to use pets from previous generations to get some mixies going and focus more on ideal body shapes than having to worry about coat and eye mutations.
I'm currently working on some purebred Chihuahua lines (Got 7th gen atm!) and trying to figure out how to get blue/gree/grey eyes to stick in the generations ._. and also managed to get some Sheepdogs up to 6th gen. I really like the idea of some fuzzy Chihuahua's for some reason.. : D
Behind the computer.. I'm a 26 year old woman who's currently studying Veterinary Nursing at university sadly though it takes up a lot of my time so free time is rather scarce between studying and what not! But hoping I can take some part in offering breeding and adoptions once I get that off the floor.
I am a total rabbit fanatic. It kills me I currently can't have any in my life at the moment with money being tight and studying! It was one of my rabbits who got me onto my path of becoming a veterinary nurse, but that is a loooong story.. It takes all my will power to not take any stray bun home that comes into the veterinary clinic that I volunteer at!
Saying that.. I did actually cave in to this guy, known as Theodore. He was a stray at the clinic who was very nervous, but for whatever reason took a huge liking to me.
He said take me home in every way possible and after my mum offered to pay for his insurance and no owner came forward for him, I ended up taking him in rather than him going to the RSPCA. He is extremely cuddly and friendly he's led out purring on my lap as I type this. I've had him for nearly two years now, and like to think of him as my mascot who has followed my last two years of my journey to becoming a veterinary nurse. When I got my offer for uni I screamed with delight and he ran over to me and sat on my lap and purred with his smile he has. No idea why I was so happy, but he joined in the moment ^_^
Anyway.. I shall stop babbling now, and get to breeding! I really would love to know what sort of thing people are interested in so I can try and prioritise breeding something along those lines. *I aim to please* also got to work on trying to recreate adoption requests I never got to before the death of the hard drive ;_;
Looking forward to getting to know you guys but if I'm quiet, I don't mean anything bad by it. I'm mostly busy with uni and often find myself with not much to say or just feel silly x)
