Hi everyone! I'm Reflet. Recently I've come back to Petz (as I seem to do every few years) and I'm super excited to find a community that's still active!
My first Petz game was Dogz 4 when I was around 6 years old. It was one of my first computer games and I instantly fell in love with it because I loved dogs so much, and didn't have one of my own at the time. When I got Petz 5 a few years later, I became invested in the breeding and discovered PetzA and the wealth of hexed breeds from the online community. I even ran a tiny website called White Wolf Kennelz, which I remember making in Microsoft Frontpage...although since I was only 9 I probably didn't do a very good job, hehe. I did love adopting from others in the community, though, and PetzA was super fun to play around with. Which, naturally, led me to breed between 500-600 German Shepards once I discovered coat and eye mutations were a thing. (Recently I opened a few of those files in LNZ pro and according to the ancestry tab they were around 99.98%-99.99% inbred. One of them was the child of a male and female version of the same pet. What was I even doing? lol)
I'm 19 now, and my love for Petz is still going strong. It's just one of those games that's pretty timeless for me. I actually still have my first second-gen pet from my Dogz 4 game back in 2003, as well as some Petz I adopted from the community 10+ years ago. (And my 500+ Shepards, but 99% of them are on my old computer. I could fish them out if I wanted to, though. Anyone want a super inbred Shepard or 5? hahaha) Recently I've been trying to figure out hexing via LNZ Pro, but I'm still learning. Mostly I've been creating neat looking Petz through breeding (who are in fact not inbred this time lol). I figured it would be more fun being a part of a community to share with and talk to!
Anyways, I should wrap this up, it's getting kinda long. I look forward to talking to you guys!
Kiche, Octavius, Freckles, Narii, Checkers, Cherry, and Puppo say hello too.
(all except for Freckles are some of the oldest files I have, and I love them)
