Oh wow! Such stunning furbabies. Coal is a very handsome fellow indeed and I'm lovin' that one blue eye.

What gorgeous dogs! You hardly see dalmations where I am, I'd love to be able to have one someday though, they're very handsome dogs. It's interesting to see a dalmation with Heterochromia, I've never really thought of them as having it. I suppose it's likely in all dogs though. He'll certainly be handsome when he's grown up though!

I think you're the person I am most jealous of in the whole world. All my life as a kid I begged my parents for a Dali and they never let me. My favorite breed has moved to Rotties now, but Dalis still always make my eyes pop. xD
My favorites are the liver spotted and ones like Daisy; the more spotted/black ears/more blackness.
I've sworn off getting pets anymore, but I think if I saw a Dali available somewhere, I'd probably crack.

They are all so stunning! How exciting that Coal will be ready to bring home on Christmas Eve! We'll be expecting more pictures, haha. I don't see many Dalmatians around. I forget how beautiful they are.

What a precious puppy! I'm sure he'll be adorable, under the tree with a big red bow. He's a handsome boy, I'm sure he'll fit right into the family.
And not to detract from all the new-puppy cuteness, but Daisy is stunning - I love the heavy spotting on her face. That's a good looking group of dogs if I've ever seen one.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful compliments I like Daisy's dark markings the best as well, but the Dalmatian standard prefers spotted ears *eye roll* I personally think, the more color, the better, so long as the dog isn't more black/liver than white. north Dals with blue eyes (or one blue eye) are semi-common depending on the bloodlines. I ALMOST chose Coal's brother, who has 2 blue eyes, but it is better to avoid having double blue eyed Dals in your bloodlines for health reasons (more than 20% of AKC Dalmatians are born deaf in one or both ears because of the lack of pigment in the breed...the chances go up with blue eyes). Something very few people know is that Dals actually come in a 3rd color (aside from black and liver spotted). It's called lemon spotted (see pic at bottom of post). I've always thought it would be so neat to have a lemon spotted Dal! Unfortunately, they often have more health problems Dals have always been my breed of choice IRL ^^ I conned my parents into getting me my first Dal for my 11th birthday and I have owned them ever since. They truly are a WONDERFUL breed!!! Not to mention the most beautiful dogs in the world *biased* Lemon Spotted Dalmatian You can see that they are different from a liver (brown) spotted Dalmatian. It's rare, but they even sometimes have BRINDLE spots!!! I could talk Dalmatians all day lol

Gorgeous! I had a liver spotted Dali as a child, his name was Freckles, which was super original for my 3 year old self lol. We didn't have him for very long though, I'm not sure why we got rid of him, but we ended up with Bear up until I was 11, he was a German Shepherd/Collie mix. I do love the look of Dali's though! You've got some gorgeous dogs! ♥

I can't handle this much cute in the morning. Look at his eyes! Will they stay like that? <3 I know what you mean!!! Yes, his left eye will stay blue and his right eye will be dark brown. It's a very beautiful look in a Dalmatian!! This is my boy Zeke's brother, Buddy. He's a liver spotted Dal with 1 blue eye and 1 gold eye. Absolutely stunning!!!

I never knew about lemon spotted Dals, it's too bad about the health issues because they're absolutely gorgeous. Do you know if the problem with blue eyes/lemon spots are all related to the "lethal white" genes you can get in double-merled dogs?
