Hello everyone! Showing petz has always been something I have wanted to get into, ever since I first heavily played the games about 12 years or so ago.... but I was never very good at posing my dogz and catz! I am trying to get back into it now, and I am finding that the thing I am having the most difficulty with is dropping my dogz so that they land with their legs lined up correctly.... I cannot seem to manage it! Anyway, I am including some of the better shots I managed to get this afternoon and I am looking for your honest criticism on them and how I might improve them! As I said, I have never ever entered a show before, and I would love to start! This is Archimedes, an absolutely STUNNING Dane mixie I just adopted from Kristina @ NEKOmmunication. This was the best pose I could get out of him: he desperately wants to turn his head waaaaaay too far away from the camera and this was the ONLY one I got where his eyes and ears are lined up. And this beautiful girl is Bind, adopted from Kel @ Middle Night (thanks again Kel, I LOVE HER!!). I found it much easier to pose her, it's like she wants to be a star... Any feedback you guys can offer me will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

Archimedes is turned a bit too far away from the camera. You should also be able to see a little bit of the left eye peeking out from behind the right eye with Danes in profile poses. I'm afraid I don't have an example pose of a Dane with Scottie ears as an example though. I really like Bind's head alignment in that pose, looks spot on to me!^^ unfortunately, she is turned a bit too far away from the camera. Here's a picture of one of my Tamsins, with the same coat texture to show what good leg alignment looks like with a smooth coated dog.

This is wonderful, thank you so much!! So with the Dali poses it's alright to have that little bit of the left front leg peeking out? I tried really hard to pose her so that *wasn't* showing, haha.

Yes! ^^ with the original breedz it's impossible to have perfect alignment like you see in the files especially created for PKC showing.
You want to align them by the ankle/ wrist instead of looking at the leg itself.
