Hi! I cannot believe that petz is still around. I played it when it first came out along with babyz. I was SOOO addicted. I didn't think there was any chance to play it again because the newer computers weren't compatible.
Does anyone know how dogz 5 handles on the windows 8 OS? That's what I'm running. Any suggestions or tips would be great. I just bought the game on ebay tonight. The auction said it should be here Friday. eep. I'm so excited.

This belongs back in the intros section, so I'll move it for you.

Not where you originally posted it, no. You posted in Petz Talk and Help (which would be fine if you were just asking about whether or not it would work in Windows 8), but since it was your introduction thread, it belongs in the intro area here.

Welcome to RKC!
D5 should run fine on Windows 8 as long as you install it outside of the Program Files directory and download and install PetzA. If it doesn't you can always look through the Petz Help Thread to see if anybody else has had the same problems and see what they tried that helped them get the game running. I know there's been at least a few people who play Petz on Windows 8.
