Now, I was reading up on skirted dog breeds and posing them (I'm a bit rusty on showing as it has been so long). I believe the goal with skirted dogs is to have their skirts be as straight as possible. I'm thinking overall #5 is the best pose Tofu gave during his training today. I am not sure though, as I am wondering about those front legs in pose #5. I really though pose #3 was promising, but then again, the skirt is a bit "bumpy". Or...I could be totally off with my assumptions all together! I'd be very thankful for some assistance!

I think #1 and #2 are pretty good, I'm not an expert on posing, but I think his head is in the perfect place. #5 needs his head to be turned towards the camera more, and also is there a bit of a cheeky paw sticking out ? But congrats on getting this far, my dogs won't even look forward!

Thank you! See, now I was thinking because his second eye was showing in #1 and #2, that would be faulted. I did think his alignment was pretty good as well, but I wasn't sure. I think that paw is sticking out in the front on #5 too!

I'm not sure what the rules really are on shows, but if you keep working at it, he will get perfect. Also, try training him in the Dali pose as well as the Dane if you are not sure on the eye thing

Thanks again! I will keep working with little Tofu! I am going to try and train him for a Dali pose as well!

Thank you! I was checking that out earlier, it certainly is a very comprehensive guide! I appreciate it.
