I managed to snap a few decent-looking poses from one of my dogz, and I decided to post them here since I'm not a dog-posing expert.
I can tell the first one is a little off.... but is the second one show-worthy? I'm surprised and happy that I could get a good pose, because usually when I try to pose my dogz they look like this....
Or this...
But anyway... how is that second pose?

The first one isn't good (leg alignment way off, tail not curled, head facing away) But the second is a huge improvement! The tail is great! You also got him at a good breathing point. The alignment on the legs is a tiny bit off (by pixels). and the head needs to be a little more centered (you can tell by his nose shines). Its not a bad pose but I would wait and try for a better pose if you want to place high. Here is a good picture guide by Celia on dali poses. It shows how the nose shines should look and how the legs should be aligned. Hope this helps! just keep trying and you'll get it^^ you're already off to a good start!

I agree that the second pose is much better, but he could be slightly more aligned away from the camera a bit. Also, his head could be turned more toward the camera.

Thanks to both of you! I'll remember your tips in the future.
