So, my daughter loves playing with her Petz in D5 and yesterday the game worked fine. I opened it up for her today, and suddenly all her petz are very, very strange looking. The AC Dogz look the same, so it's not just her adopted petz. Thinking maybe something happened with my graphics somehow (everything else in the game looks fine) I opened Petz 4 to see if the problem was also there but Petz 4 is working perfectly. I honestly have no clue what happened between yesterday and today, but those Dogz are sure strange looking. I will try reinstalling it this afternoon to see if it fixes the problem, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone else had this happen to them. You can see the "shadow" of the actual petz on the left, meanwhile the Petz you interact with are those stick figure dudes on the right. Really, truly confused. Edited to add: Also noticed a few (not many) toys are also affected. Namely the bone and the fish bones that I have so far found. Most toys are fine though.

Ah, a classic windows 7/vista issue. This is a common issue with a simple solution! This thread talks about it: petzforum.proboards.com/thread/224/windows-7-vista-petzQuote from the page on the issue: " Help! My pet looks like an origami pet!If this happens, it is due to a peculiar glitch with Petz and Windows screen resolutions higher than 1072x798 or whatever it is. You see, the developers made Petz when such resolutions were unheard of, and so didn't bug-test for those sizes. Fast forward to today, and we're left to figure out fixes for the problem. In this case, just change your resolution until you find one that is as high as possible without distorting your petz; if all else fails, switch to 1072x798 and you should be fine. 1920x1200 is extremely high, but most people have success with it." So your screen resolution probably got changed between yesterday and today. So play around with changing the resolution and it should go back to normal. I had this issue when I first installed D5 on my win 7 laptop.

I was working on my website last night and changed the resolution a few times to see if it would fit well in all resolutions and left it on a higher one. LOL Thank-you!
