PKC?

I keep seeing people referencing the PKC/saying PKC registered breeds/etc. What is the PKC and where do you download the breeds? I searched google and all I could find was a forum where you need to register to join.

PKC is a forum and site for petz shows. It's different than regular petz shows because it's more realistic- the petz are judged by how well they fit a standard rather than just poses (although they do play a part). it's a lot of fun!
pkc accepted breeds are just breeds that can be shown in the conformation shows. so they're always based on a real life breed and a lot of the times are hexed for shows rather than playing. (although there are a lot of petzy ones)
pkc accepted breeds can be found in a whole tooon of places, not one specific place. it will usually say if the breed is pkc accepted.

that's because you do have to register to be able to see both the main site and the forum.

I get that, which is why I said it. I didn't want to have to register to see anything. I perused over the threads here before I joined to make sure it was the kind of forum I wanted to join. If you get me.



I did send in a registry request to PKC anyway, but haven't gotten a response yet.

^ I'm not really an active member over at PKC, but I do believe that it's a little different from here, to get your account approved=). I had to post an introduction, before they could accept. Not really sure if that's still the case now, but just thought I'd mention it^^.

It's also best to edit your previous post as well, instead of posting another post right underneath your own...that's double posting^^, which I'm afraid is against the rules on RKC.
