I keep seeing people referencing the PKC/saying PKC registered breeds/etc. What is the PKC and where do you download the breeds? I searched google and all I could find was a forum where you need to register to join.

PKC is a forum and site for petz shows. It's different than regular petz shows because it's more realistic- the petz are judged by how well they fit a standard rather than just poses (although they do play a part). it's a lot of fun! pkc accepted breeds are just breeds that can be shown in the conformation shows. so they're always based on a real life breed and a lot of the times are hexed for shows rather than playing. (although there are a lot of petzy ones) pkc accepted breeds can be found in a whole tooon of places, not one specific place. it will usually say if the breed is pkc accepted.

I searched google and all I could find was a forum where you need to register to join. that's because you do have to register to be able to see both the main site and the forum.

I get that, which is why I said it. I didn't want to have to register to see anything. I perused over the threads here before I joined to make sure it was the kind of forum I wanted to join. If you get me. I did send in a registry request to PKC anyway, but haven't gotten a response yet.

^ I'm not really an active member over at PKC, but I do believe that it's a little different from here, to get your account approved=). I had to post an introduction, before they could accept. Not really sure if that's still the case now, but just thought I'd mention it^^.
It's also best to edit your previous post as well, instead of posting another post right underneath your own...that's double posting^^, which I'm afraid is against the rules on RKC.

That is correct, you must make an introduction thread on the forum and your account will be activated:)

Thank you, shebaatje. I will post an intro later. Sorry about the double post. I edited it.
