Hey guys! Just thought I'd make this thread to show you all my kitty cats and let you know a little about them. <3
Buddy (RIP 12/4/13):
Here's my only boy, Buddy. My aunt and uncle found him hanging around their house so they decided to feed him. They left their house for awhile so my brother and I would go to their house to feed him. He'd hide in the bushes and wait till we left to come out to eat. He doesn't hide from anyone now he's literally everybody's buddy hence his name lol. Seriously if you leave your car door open he will jump in and leave with you. My neighbor had a visitor with a little girl and he jumped in the car with her and she wanted to take him home. xD
Buffy:
This is Buffy. Named after Buffy the Vampire Slayer haha. My same aunt and uncle mentioned above had a cat that had kittens so we ended up getting her. She was a terror as a kitten as she loved to dive into our Christmas tree knocking all the ornaments off. :/
Sabrina:
This is Sabrina. She is definitely my baby. When we went to see my aunt and uncle's kittens (Buffy), she was in the woods meowing. We thought she was one of the kittens that strayed away from their mom, but she was just looking for a family I guess. After seeing her for the first time I hadn't seen her in awhile until one day she was eating out of my neighbor's trash. I walked over to her and she started to run away until I started talking to her and that got her to come right to me. She was super skinny like no bigger than her backbone and she was only 7 months old. If I hadn't seen her again I don't think she would have lived much longer. She is still very shy around strangers. Also something really interesting about her is that she knows that smoke/smoke detector going off possibly means fire. If she smells smoke from cooking or if our smoke detector goes off she will run around meowing and sit at the front door until we can calm her down.
Tilly:
Lastly, there's Tilly. We got her back in June when one of my brother's friend's cat had kittens. She is like the most adorable thing in the world. She loves to ride around on my back and shoulder and just cuddle. Sadly none of my other cats like her yet. She tries so hard to fit in with them, but it hasn't happened yet. She likes to jump on Buddy and mess with him the most cause she knows he's a sweetheart and will put up with her. She will be 6 months old next month.
Fluffy/Flurf (RIP)
I had to include Flurf in this as well. It just wouldn't feel right to leave him out. Yes he was a boy, he ended up being called Fluffy cause he wouldn't let anyone see what gender he was until we finally had to call him something lol. I nicknamed him Flurf because I felt that would me a little more boy-ish for him. He just randomly showed up at my house a couple of years ago and had been with us until February 19th. He was hit by a car, he's pretty much the hardest pet death I've had. I think the reason for that was because we bonded so quickly, but had so little time with eachother. He has a nice set-up in the back yard now that I make sure stays nice.
Sorry to end this on such a downer, but he had to be included. I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the little stories if you felt like reading them lol.
