Welcome to the Cyber Cat Club where members gather and adopt cyber cats. No cats in this game are real and we are not promoting the breeding of real life cats. Members here can breed their own litters and show their cats. They can collaborate with others or hire another for whatever they'd like. In cyber pet games like this you draw you're own cats and litters. Even if you're not the best artist the game is still great fun and people want your cats! This game will help those art skills grow and blossom with the practice you obtain from litters. So not only is it fun, but an artistic learning tool!
Where did this type of game come from?
This particular type of game used to be very popular many years ago. It found a niche in the cyber pet game community and, unfortunately, since died out. Most of the members of previous games of this nature grew away from the games as activity decreased with time. It becomes difficult to play when people who used to play drop off rapidly. The site CCC was made to replaced died out before I even found this type of game online. The original online cat club was founded somewhere in the 90s and died out in the early 2000s. Dog versions popped up as well and the most recent to die out has been officially dead for a couple years. The cat club right before this one was only open for a short time and the only members consisted of people from NCC (the dog club mentioned in the previous statement.)
How do I play?
Well you adopt drawn cats from other members and draw your own! All levels of artists are welcome in these types of games and they push artistic growth. I took a unique idea with this one on the showing. In the previous games, showing was done automatically and all cats were entered. On this one, only active cats are entered and as forum activity grows the number of shows will grow to fit our needs so all cats can get to champion. After your cats reach champion levels you can breed them to each other and continue the lines! It's a very leisurely game and you only really have to log on once a week. You can even sign up for weekly email reminders to come and enter your cats in shows.
Seems boring to go at that slow of a pace.
Well yeah it's not a game you sit on for hours. You do your art and enter cats and you can talk to others on it about the games on other things. The entire concept is supposed to be slow, boring even. When you get to register foundation cats and adopt and breed you spend time doing that versus always playing.
Can I have some part in working the game?
Yes, actually you can! Special shows, or really events, are needed. Breed show runners are needed, new breeds are needed, new features are needed. This type of game revolves around what members make it. They can make it a happening place or they can make it slow. Suggestions are always wanted and you can have your own part in running the game.
