Hello! I'm an old newcomer, getting reacquainted with the game and enjoying the culture shock. I was last active in the community around 2000-2001, so this is all pretty much brand new. I introduced myself in the PKC forum a while ago, but my account was somehow reset when I updated my e-mail address. I've been waiting for a few weeks to regain access and I'm worried I broke the system or something . Once I'm back in, my grand plan is to start showing Anatolian shepherds, and possibly Akitas (both the Abnormality files, which I still haven't gotten my hands on). As you can see, I have a way to go before I'm settled. Meanwhile, I've spent a lot of time lurking here and admiring all of your works. I'm happy to be here and to get to know you all!

Hey Aldebaran, welcome to RKC! ^__^ Good luck with showing your dogs and I hope you enjoy it here! I lurked a quite a bit before I joined this forum to (kind of a while ago), but I remember how excited I was to be able to post and start using the forum, haha. I still remember this hexed pair of catz that was up that I had wanted to apply for that I was just dying because they - at the time - were the most amazing things I'd seen because the idea of hexing was so new to me. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, the people in the petz community are really friendly and would be happy to help you out!

Thanks for the welcome! I did some hexing back in the day, but I'd have to start from scratch to learn again. Maybe that's the perfect way to procrastinate this summer.

Hexing is a ton of fun! If you need help, I'm sure people would be more than happy to help you in the hexing chat boards, or if you PM me I might be able to help too.
Good luck with hexing if you decide to start up again! I'd definitely love to see what you're able to come up with :] and dude, totally a perfect way to procrastinate/have a creative outlet to go to xD

Thanks! Good timing, too--I actually have a strange question about the breed file (if you have the Abno version, that is). Do your Anatolians have a weird bulge in the forehead above the eyes as adults? It's only noticeable when they look straight at you, not so much from the side/profile.
Somebody over at PKC emailed the file to me, and I'm not sure if this is normal or if she accidentally sent me a hexed version.
Any clue?

Welcome to RKC! Yeah, the community may seem quite different than it was back in 2000/2001, since there are so many new things and hexing has come a long long way since then. It's a real shame that several big sites for hexed breed files have gone down lately, like Abnormality. I have some Abno files, but not the Anatolian Shepherd, so I can't help much with that. I've never had the Abno Anatolian file, but it sounds like the "bulge" on the forehead is just the stop, so it's most likely normal. I do have the Version 1 Abno Akita, which is the version I use, so I could send that if you'd like. It's the really cute, petzy version. Good to have you aboard, and good luck!

I have the Abno file. Mine has the bulge thing. It's not there if I'm posing the dog though so I never gave much thought to it. I imagine it has something to do with screen resolution or something.
