My friend recently hexed me a breed of calico with flipped markings, and I adopted quite a few. But one in particular has got me stumped... I entered her in a show, and someone claimed I flipped her image because of her back legs being 'flipped' from a left-facing pet. I never actually flipped her picture, and she continuously poses this way. None of the other Catz I adopted from this breed pose this way, so I was wondering if this was just her being unique or an issue in her file? Is there any way I can fix this? Picture:

Hmm... It almost looks to me as if one of her legs is shorter than the other? A mutation perhaps? I'm not too sure... But when I bred a dog a long time ago, he didn't seem to have a neck and his front legs were to far forward, so somebody kindly hexed him a bit so he was more in proportion. Maybe you could look into that?

^ What would that have to do with the cat's right leg being in the back though? If a leg is shorter, I don't know why it would position its' legs in a different way than any other cat. It'd just look wonky. xD I also don't see how one is shorter, but I dunno. Could be. But I don't think that's the issue, unless there's something I'm missing here. But that is so weird, I've never seen that before. o.o I'm afraid I'm no help, but I'd love to see her doing that in-game. xD That is so strange!! EDIT: OH WAIT, I can see how you'd think the leg is shorter now...you're following the wrong leg. That "shorter" back paw is in the back. EDITEDIT: See: I imagine you were looking at the pic like the outlines show on the right. That's incorrect, I think...I see it as the outlines show on the left. xD Since I can't explain clearly, I thought I'd show you. But yes...this is completely weird. o.o

I really want to show her, but I don't want to get in trouble for 'flipping' her image. Someone called me out on that, so I had to take her out even though I never messed with it. I really have no idea what's going on with her at this point! No one has ever really seen anything like it, so I'm confused. But if anyone can think of any reasons, even if it might sound stupid, I'll take them at this point! D:

CatCreature has the right idea. I noticed it too before even scrolling down to see her comment. You can show that image to anyone who thinks you flipped it, because that should fix any issues they have. When looking more closely, you can tell that it's just the markings that make her leg look messed up. The pose itself appears to be fine.

But wait...no, the thing is, it's still messed up. Isn't the leg I outlined in green supposed to be INWARD, towards the belly? Not out behind it?

Thanks! I'll try to get her back into some more shows, with those images on hand and the link to this post as extra proof. I love showing, and don't want to be banned from it for something I never did! I see how her leg is okay now, the markings were just getting in the way and messing with my eyes! I'm so happy that she can show again!
Got ninja'd. True, true... I still see how it's messed up then D:

Are we implying the red-outlined pic is the actual reality? o.o Cuz I thought it was the green one. Hence the color choice of outlines LOL.
I'm so confused. xDD

^ The green one looks the most accurate. But if that's the case, then yes, the picture does appear to be flipped. LOL CatCreature is right again. I posted my post then went, "wait, wtf" and had to search up some other kitty pictures hahah. Cassie here's a decent example. (though not an actual show pose, obviously hahaha.) Could you take some other pictures of her posing please? from both sides, perhaps.

Krexxa, I doubt I can do anything, but would you want to send your kitty to me, so I can take a look at it in-game? Maybe it'll give me an idea. If you'd rather not, that's fine too. xD But I'm curious to see what's up.

I'd be happy to look at the pet as well, if you'd like. Generally in hexing a file it shouldn't change a pets personality/animations unless they were doing stuff along these lines like hexplorer or a similar program? In a normal right facing pose, the back left leg should be back further than the back right leg.

Yeah, I see why they thought it was flipped. It matches up perfectly to Mako's description. To the T. That's even the same patch on the leg...

My friend hexed the pet so it had the cali spot on the opposite side, and all of the other catz I get from that breed look normal. I'll take some more pics of her for you guys to see and edit them into the main post.
I sent her over to my friend to see what he thinks, so she should be back soon for even more pictures comparing her to a normal cali and others of her breed as extra proof for not flipping her image.

That image is flipped whether you believe it or not, if you have not flipped it yourself then somebody has. As a hexer and a hexer who has been worked on modifying the animations in the petz game i know that its not possible for a cat to 'flip' pose. I know a few others who also tried to modify the game (and i mean the game would need to be modified not a .pet file because the show pose an animation) and they being programmers could not edit them. The right leg is always the leg that is in front... as you can see with yours its the left leg that's pulled forwards along with the fact its shorter like Makos flipped images. You can understand why people feel its a flipped image. The fact you stated none of your other cats are posing this way also says your games not been modified.
I'm not saying you have flipped the image, but the image has been flipped, whether somebody who has access to your computer was playing with things as i know it happens when younger siblings or family members get a hold of things.
On that note please do not enter these images in shows on RKC because they will be reported to us and as you said you don't want to be accused of entering an edited show pose. I'm speaking for RKC though you can enter them on other forums if you wish but i fear the result would be the same. I would suggest trying to take other show pictures try taking a few of them and post them up, that way people can help you get a nice show pose (facing the correct way). If you still claim that you cant get her to pose correctly then I ask that you please try entering different cats in the show ring, i understand this might sound a little harsh asking you not to enter her, but in the end we don't want you to be in trouble for entering what appears to be a flipped image as you would like to be in trouble for it =3
If you want any help or tips on getting a good show pose or if you would like me to take a look at images so i can tell you if they appear flipped or want advice on them, then your more than welcome to PM me =3
