Neither of them would be good for shows.
In the first pic, he's overposed and his back leg is doing something funky, and his tail is crooked.
In the second pic, his head is turned too far away from the camera. We can see both ears when we should only see one.
If you used the spacebar when taking pics, you might want to look at some earlier ones in the 2nd pic's series since his head would have been turned towards the camera a bit more in an earlier shot where only 1 ear would be showing. His alignment in the 2nd pic does look good to me though.

Dogz always go through the same motions in every game when they begin posing. So I know for a fact that he does pose just like every other dog. They start by puffing up their chest, facing the camera dali pose style, then they turn their head 3/4 , then turn their head to dane style. If you're repeatedly hitting the spacebar to catch all of the images as hes doing this, you'll find one that's closer to what I'm describing.
You shouldn't see both ears side by side in a dane pose. They should appear as one. I wish I had a good example, but unfortunately all I have are pics of my pitdogs at the moment and bulldog heads wouldn't make a good example since they pose slightly different than the other breeds.
EDIT: The ears look better in that pic but are still off since he's still looking away from the camera a bit. And his alignment is a little off now too. But this one is closer than the other ones.

Well done that is a great start to posing! At first I was awful haha but that is a really good first attempt! I agree entirely with KeyOfthetwilight you made me laugh by saying the over pose was funky haha =P Basically, I struggled with dane posing at the start and I'm much better at posing dali's myself. Anyway, I've drew you up something quick on paint to help you and to come back too as I struggled the most with these things myself I hope it's useful =) I know it looks crappy haha please ignore my arrows *cringe* 1. Look how his chest is nicely puffed out, this is the first thing to look for as sometimes it's quite hard to spot a skinny pose if you have a 'fluffy' kinda dog, to me anyway =P 2. The tail; it's nicely curved towards his body and his back should have a slight curve (notice the difference between the first and second pose as the 1st his face turned away making it look crooked) The back isn't a major thing but it will happen naturally within a good pose so always is a good thing to look for. 3. The ears; within a dane pose, as you are aware, should appear equal and level. I love the second pose's face as he has his ears perfectly equal and hardly any second eye showing and his head is the level it should be (nose pointed slightly higher than some other dane poses I've seen, not too high of course if you have a look around and compare your poses to others I'm sure you will know what I mean) 4. Leg allignment; such a pain! To me the 1st pose has the better allignment as his back feet are lined up straight and front legs are lined up nicely compared to the second. Can you see a bit of his front back foot showing, now it depends with what type of dog you have for this to be normal, but notice how his back legs aren't straight making him not alligned properly and too far away from the camera, just turn him towards you a tad more and wallah a perfect dane pose to me =D I hope this as helped you and feel free to message me any time, as trust me, I spent forever learning and at first I thought it was impossible and thanks to friends helping me out along the way <3 I eventually got there. I still sometimes can't get it just right myself but keep trying and you will get there. I hope this helps, for now or in the future. Beautiful doggy by the way I love his coat :3

A very important point to consider is breathing point, both those last poses have a very low breathing point and make the dog look hunched:) I look at breathing point immediately after alignment when I judge:)

Alright, so I tried posing one of my Labradors (with Scottie ears) in a profile pose and this is what I was able to get... Those Scottie ears are such a pain to get right...>.< but I do believe they look alright in this one. However, if you want to play it safe, I would suggest showing him in a Dali pose, because I've noticed that most judges find those easier to judge and compared to profile poses, they're easier to get just right^^. That last profile pose you posted could be turned more towards the camera a little bit, right now it looks a little ''off'' both in leg and head allignment, but you are getting there! Here's an Dali pose example...I think Labradors look just as nice in this type of pose then in a profile^^. It's still your call, of course!=)
