Hey everyone!
I've recently been breeding Savannahs to try and find a cute little kitty to call my own and (hopefully) be used for shows. Shows are something I've always wanted to participate in but never have, and I finally think I'm ready to jump into it.
I have two catz that I can get to pose, but I have one problem - their tails don't go up! I've noticed some Savannahs have straight up tails and others have a swooped downwards tail, and both mine are the latter. The tails position definitely changed when they pose, but it never curls over their back.
Will my catz be disqualified because of this, or is it just something that is the norm for the Savannah breed?
Here are some photos for reference, my boys Sarif and Pit!
Here is Sarif when he is standing, and when he poses. As you can see the tail is still tucked. Other than the tail issue, can you guys give me some general pose critique as well?
Here is Pit while he is posing. His tail goes out a little further then Sarif's but it still doesn't curl over his back at all, even when playing or relaxed. That is the highest it goes.
I guess for more comparisons, here are two more standing Savannahs, one with the tail style that my boys have, and one who's tail is always up above his back.
See? Aaah, I think I made this so much longer than I needed to. I guess what I'm asking is should I rebreed until I get a similar Savannah to Sarif and Pit but with the up-style tail, or are they fine the way they are? And posing advice. XD
