I tried making an account on here, but was denied in an automated email saying "Sorry, we no longer accept memberships from any business or public locations." And it's cool and all if you don't want me, but I'm just a tad confused on the reason. This is my own personal laptop that I use, not a business or public location... However, to be far, I did punch in the activation code while I was in school the other day because we weren't doing anything in class. Maybe that's what the issue was? Maybe I could at least get a better explanation for this? Sorry to be a bother. Also, I really love Petz 5, and I had no idea there was an active group for the game in existence on the internet, so when I saw this the other day I was really quite ecstatic.

If you connect to a wireless network that isn't a password protected personal one then it'll be detected as public. So it may have been that you logged in at school or perhaps you live on campus/around campus and use public wifi or unprotected wifi. I don't connect while I'm at school (although recently they got password protected wifi so I don't know if that'd be okay) just to be on the safe side account-wise so I'd suggest the same for you

Hello Dragontamer,
Your ISP was identified as "Prince William County Schools", which is a public location shared among all other students of that school. That's the reason it was denied.
You can recreate your account if you will visit RKC only from home or using your private ISP.
