Hello. I have this dog Rex, and he is good at posing. But I like to know what alignment look best for him. the head alignment and leg/feet alignment. #1 #2 #3 #4 So please let me know which one has the best leg and which one has the best head. At this time I think it pose #1, But I like to get someone else point of view on this. P.s did any one ever have a dog that did this? It my dog Lola, every time I pic her up to align for a pose, she go splat like this. Is there a way to train Lola to land better on her feet? I hope so.

I'm still new at showing labs so I'm no help but it looks like Lola is a trotter. I know whenever you pick up a dog that is a trotter they always land like that. It's pretty annoying when you are trying to pose them lol

For head alignment #3 is the best in my opinion. For feet alignment #4. In pose #1, his head isn't upright enough. The top of his snout should be level with the ground.
As for your second lab, she is most likely a trotter. To pose them, drop her near the bottom of the screen. She won't flop then.

Heather: I am happy that I'm not the only one with a dog like that. ^_^ and yes it is annoying wan I try to pose her.
jax: thank you! your tip is working. I can align her with no flop^_^. I'l try to get a pose from rex with that head and feet. thank you.
P.s Is it possible to train a trotter to jump through a hoop? I am trying to.

I actually didn't know if it was possible so I just tried with one of my trotting bulldog mixes. He jumped through without any problems. =]
