I adopted this gorgeous boy from Jax over on PUGS (dem white spots <3) and he gave me a reason to start showing. I've been working on and off for a couple of hours and finally got this pose:
Would he place (or rather, have the potential to place) if I entered this picture into a show?

I judge based on alignment of the feet first, so he would most definitely place in my opinion. His face could be facing the camera a slight bit more, but I think it's a great pose and I would def use it.
He's such a gorgeous boy, I'm glad you like him!

Thanks Jax c: I'll keep working on that head of his and see what I can come up with. And I do love him, he's so beautiful <3

His leg allignment does look great!=] but there's some tough competition out there and if another Dali with perfect leg and head allignment in the show, I'm afraid he wouldn't place.
Because the head isn't centered, the whole pose looks a bit ''off'' to me...=[

Thanks for the input, Sheba c: I've been having a hard time getting his head more square over the shoulders, and I'm not sure why. I'm going to keep trying, though

Katherine, I find that sometimes the head alignment can be very tricky when the legs are aligned really good. I auto-save my pics and honestly, when the head alignment is perfect it only lasts long enough for one frame with me smashing my space-bar at light speed.

^ if the legs are aligned perfectly, 90% of the time for me, the head will fall into place accurately. Even if the head is very difficult to gain, with the competition in the show rings these days, you're going to have to have a perfect pose to place.
