In my opinion, he's tilted slightly away from the camera. It used to be that some judges preferred OBs aligned by the back legs, others by the front but the general thing I've noticed is to align both sets of legs so that it's like ~in between~ and that usually looks the nicest. In Dali #2, he's exhaling as you can tell by his ears not being as nicely tucked in toward the head as Dali #1. The Dane poses aren't something you see much in Dalis because, as the name suggests, Dalmatians are nicest in Dali pose but I like Dane #2 the most

Ah okay. The only dogz I've successfully posed have been CKBC and they have much thicker legs, so I was really confused about the alignment. Would dane #2 place at all? Or would I be better off just scrapping it? I was considering using it while I get a better pose.
Do you have an example of what good dali alignment looks like or a tutorial with an image, by any chance? I know you seem to know the links to a lot of helpful stuff, haha!
Thank you for the help dear <3

There is this one from the Legend Ink pose guide: Which would probably be the optimal ankle/wrist alignment. The guide there specifies that if the front wrists are perfectly aligned in an OB then it is perfectly aligned regardless of back legs so yours are definitely very close but I think it could be a smidgen closer to 'you' and then you'd get that nice centered look (where the head is actually directly centered at you). I can take a shot at aligning a Dali myself to show you. Although CKBCs are actually... harder to align, in a sense, because you have to actually draw a line to see if the toes line up and then it means they're aligned perfectly, haha.
