Okay, so I want to start showing my dogs again, but I'm not sure if these are considered poses xP I know they're extremely unaligned, but am I on the right track?

They are poses, but they wouldn't place. Try and get it to where the legs align. ^ This pose is unaligned. ^ This one is still slightly unaligned. These aren't the best poses or examples, but try and get something closely to those! Do you let them pose by themselves, or do you pick them up and align them up yourself? It's easier to pick them up to make sure the feet align and then click the spacebar until they pose. Im probably not the best person to give pose advice, since I haven't shown in PKC since forever, but thought I'd try.

To answer your question, yes, those dogs are posing. The dog's chest should puff out, and they should stand up straighter and look proud. If it's a profile pose, the one eye should always look at the camera (not to the side). While those dogs are in fact posing, as leec mentioned, they are very unaligned. You want the legs to align so that only one is visible (or as close to that as possible, depending on the breed). In a dali pose, the head should be square with the shoulders, the ears should be even, and the nose balls and shines should be as equal and even as possible. In a profile pose, ideally only one eye, nose ball, and ear should show. Whichever pose you're going for, try to get it at the best breathing point, when the dog looks it's proudest. Avoid wide "scared" eyes and "skinny poses", where the dog doesn't puff out it's chest at all. I hope that helps.

#1: The legs are unaligned, dog is turned too far to the right.
#2: This is an "overpose", and will be DQ'd in a pose show.
#3: Legs are unaligned, dog is turned too far to the left.
#4: This is not a pose. Notice how the eye is looking to the right. It should be looking at the camera.
#5: This is a much better pose. The legs are aligned, the head is square enough, the ears are even and have a good shape. The nose is slightly crooked though.
#6: The legs are unaligned. Dog is turned too far to the left.
#7: This is an overpose.
#8: The dog's eyes are "scared", wide open, this would be DQ'd.
#9: The dog is turned just a hair too far to the right.
#10: This is an overpose.
#11: The dog is turned too far to the right.
#12: The dog is turned a tiny tad too far to the right.
The only one of these poses that I'd suggest using is #5. The others are too unaligned, or aren't technically poses (overpose, scared pose)

Thank you! That helped a lot ^^ So pretty much I need to aim for poses like #5, but get the muzzle/nose less crooked (:
