So I've decided that it would be a great idea to title all of the petz in my main crew (aka the petz I play with regularly) to 30 points. A do-able goal, not too small and it gives me something to do. So, this are all of the catz I have in my crew that I have posed (minus wildz). I haven't posed OBs in years, oh jesus. The only thing I can guarantee is that they are posing but I can't guarantee alignment is any good, haha. And one question: is posing Siamese/Alley Catz using the out-of-door method scored lower here? I do it like that for the PKC all the time but I haven't shown in regular rings for a long time, heh. ✓ Aoi ✓ Aundrae Basil Bassett ✓ Boston ✓ Cadence Julieu Junior II* (not sure if he's showable, I just posed all catz that weren't wildz) Marian Mew Milk Nathan ✓ Niabi Socrates So, let me know how their poses are It would be much appreciated. I'm a perfectionist so if there's any way to improve poses, I'm up for it!

Just a few quick things I immediately spotted. <3
- Keep an eye on the tail curve! Quite a few of these could be vastly improved in that department - particularly Basil, Mew and Marian. I'm not sure about Nathan, as I have no experience with Alleys - do they have tail issues generally, or should they have a curved tail like other breeds?
- Mew and Junior II are too far from the camera - possibly Aundre too, but again, I have no experience with Meezers.
- I'm being picky here, but I think Bassett and Julieu are ever so slightly too close to the camera.
- Milk has no outlines, so it's impossible to tell - maybe impossible to judge, too? Don't quote me on that, though, haha.
The others I'm not really sure about - I am still very new at this and am comparing these with what I know about Cali standards, so I apologize for anything I might have misunderstood/gotten wrong!
GOOD LUCK in the showring!
EDIT: I forgot to add that Cadence's alignment, as far as I can see, is A+! ;D

Becca already covered a lot^^, but I have a question...
What kind of personality does Mew have again?=] If he has indeed an Oshie personality, just like Basil, then I don't think he'd place with those eyelids=[ (in fact, I'm not sure if any cat would place with them, because they look a bit sleepy/ too low?)
Nathan & Socrates could be turned ever so slightly more away from the camera as well=] just a tiny bit, but that would make their poses ook better. I really like Niabi's pose though.

GOOD LUCK in the showring! EDIT: I forgot to add that Cadence's alignment, as far as I can see, is A+! ;D For Alleyz, the general rule is to get a straight tail because they can't bend them forward. At least that's what I've always gone by/read on the forums. But yeah, I struggle with tails because I don't like auto-save, haha. Junior is actually tough because I don't think his front legs align completely... I'll have to check but I don't know if he'd be able to be judged at all because he doesn't have one paw xD Please don't be worried about being picky, I'm a perfectionist so I HATE not putting out the best poses that I can take. And, well, if a judge doesn't judge a show correctly then I'm totally justified in pointing it out because my poses would be perfect (The sad thing is, I'm only partially joking about this) And I remember showing Milk years ago over at APKC, possibly on here as well, but she's from 2006. For petz without outlines, you'd look at shadows on the legs to see if the front ones are aligned (that's what I was doing, anyway xD). I sure hope she's still showable. Thank you so much for the critique, I'll work with them more! Trying to get catz done before I attempt dogz, blah. All are pretty easy to pose except Basil, I hate Oshie personalities so much Becca already covered a lot^^, but I have a question... Nathan & Socrates could be turned ever so slightly more away from the camera as well=] just a tiny bit, but that would make their poses ook better. I really like Niabi's pose though. Mew has a Chinchilla Persian personality, so he'll pose with lazy eyelids. I'm surprised Marian didn't pose with them because she's also a Chinchilla Persian. But they do pose with really sleepy eyelids (it actually takes a second for them to pose at all). But my trouble catz are Socrates (because he pulls stupid expressions all the time while posing, oh my god) and Nathan (I pose him using the door method so alignment is tricky because I don't actually align him manually) so I'm not surprised you pointed those two out, heh. Thank you so much for the critique as well Sheba I'll work on these guys while start taking the dog pictures~ EDIT: Don't mind the check marks I'm putting, it's just for me to keep track of which petz either haven't been critiqued (so I assume their poses are okay/good) or poses that have been said to be good. That way I can tell who I need to re-take, heh.

I'm not sure on the rules of double-posting if I have an update to post (aka I took the suggestions from the critiques and took new poses). If not, I can edit my previous post but I wasn't 100% sure I'm confused about Milk up there, is her pose okay or? Basil Bassett Julieu Junior II Marian Mew Nathan Socrates

Julieu's pose is looking very good now!=] I'd think he would be ready to enter the ring with that one^^ and Junior II also looks better up there.
