Just curious how often, if, and how you guys back up your petz files? I'm going to be saving my files on a disc soon after my recent incident with almost loosing them. I don't know a whole lot about burning things to discs, so this will be a good experiance for me xD
I was simply just curious as to what you guys do with yours as far as backups go.

I have a portable hard drive that put all my back-up files on. I have folders for each of my petzaprofiles and I copy the files over every few months. It's worked for me so far!

I have a portable hard drive that put all my back-up files on. I may have to invest in one of those x3 haha Not just for petz, but for pictures I take off of my camera onto the computer and don't want to loose if something should suddenly happen to my computer.

I just have everything backed up in my emails.. xD that's what I used to do, but if it's literally /all/ your files that you have missing from a crach, virus, etc, it's easy to forget files names, re-names of what you had with petz, and to have to download files one-by-one like that. I used to just save all the e-mails where I got the origanal petz from to back them up through e-mails xD But the above reason kind of made that difficult. :P They are actually pretty affordable! I'd recommend them to anyone who has a computer XD. Awesome, I'll have to check them out next time I'm out! :3

I did have literally none of my petz files on one computer at one point in time (I switched over from a desktop to a laptop) and I did get back all of the (old) petz that I have now from my emails so... :p *shrug* But you're right, it's probably not the easiest method.

Yeah, probably not the easiest way. But if it's effective for you, then it's good that you have a way of backing your files. :3

I should really back up my Petz, haha ;^; I don't generally send them to myself, but I never delete a file, whether it's somebody else's pet or my pet that happens to be in my inbox XD I do however have a flashdrive to put them (and only them. lulz) on. EDIT;; Backed up X3

This last year about every month or two. When my old computer was acting up, every few days. Now I'll probably go back to monthly back ups. I have an external drive that I use for backup or sometimes I use a flash drive if I want a very quick back up of just the pet files.
I have all of the original emails on my hotmail account but after having another email addy hacked last year I wouldn't rely on that as a sole back up.

I back them up whenever I think about it XD I generally back up new petz I adopt from the AC asap(right now just in my email, completely filled our external drive XD), and ones I'm naturally raising I back up every couple of days. Other petz I don't worry about as much, usually back them up once a month or so ~Vanilla

Now that I think about it...I've never backed up ANY of my petz EVER. O.O I really need to do that. And when I do, I'll stash them on my flash drive for safe keeping. ;D

I try to do it every month, maybe a month and a half if I forget about it. I use an external hard drive to back up my stuff (and generally I backup any photos from my camera, especially if I need the space on the memory card so I just zip it up and put it there).

I have a petz backup folder on my computer where I keep copies of all my pet files, as well as several CDs I burned all my important or irreplaceable petz files to. I also recently got a flash drive, which I put backups of all my important petz files on as well.
