I'm just wonder if anyone else has tried this OW breed file and had the same problem. The Grey Wolf OW Version 2 on this page uses the stripe3 texture from cats so it should show up fine in the my game as I have both games but it doesn't work in P4. The P5 version works fine on my computer so I'm wondering what the issue could be and if someone more in the know could help.

It may be listed as an external texture and so you'll need the actual furfile in your Dogz folder for it to work.

Ok I had a peek at the breed file and it lists the texture as being in the following location. \art\textures\stripe3.bmp I've found the furfile online and I created a folder named art in the Dogz folder and a textures folder inside of that and put the furfile in there but it still doesn't show up. I tried doing the same thing in the Catz folder just for the heck of it and that didn't help either. I also put a copy straight in the Dogz folder but no joy. The furfile is in 256 colours depth and the right dimensions (128x128).
Ideas?

\art\textures\FURFILENAMEHERE.bmp should be a texture from in-game so you shouldn't need to create a new folder. I've had issues with stripe3 before tbh, I've tried applying it in my hexwork before (argument @0 as well) and it just didn't show up. I also use P4, if that's relevant? I'm not sure what's wrong, so I can't help, but I am also curious as to see if anyone knows why!

You can get an external version of stripe3.bmp by going to Petz 4/Petz Player/Resource/Downloads and it should be in there so try and redirect the furfile to Resource/Dogz and see if that works. I can't guarantee it's the right size (it looks rather large) for Petz 4 but it's worth a shot.
Whoops, didn't read the other post. Hopefully that works for you (with Minibyte's suggestion).

\art\textures\stripe3.bmp should be in the Petz 4 folder, not the Dogz folder. Ah ok that did it. Thank you. Just an FYI but the furfile wasn't included in the Grey Wolf OW (V2) zip and nothing was mentioned about needing it in the Read Me so maybe something you might want to fix? The Grey Wolf V1 works just fine without the additional texture but V2 doesn't. PS. thanks for the tip Artemis on where to find some of the textures without needing to download them. I was wondering if there was a way to do that.
