I love all my petz and rotate them out. I have around 60 and every couple of months or so, I'll switch up the petz to have around 20 in my adopted folder. The others go back into a seperate folder, until I rotate them out again.
If I had all of them in the adopted folder together, it would be hard to play with all of them, each time I'm on the game. I find the rotating to be the best solution for me. I also breed some my petz. I don't have certain ones just for breeding projects; I like to play with all of them.
I haven't heard of profiles using PetzA. Is it in an updated version? It sounds interesting. Would you still be able to switch petz into different folders? Sometimes I like to change up which petz are in a "group" (the ones I rotate out).

The profiles in petzA allow you to select which group of petz you want to play with when you open the game. No switching folders needed:) you can download the new version on the Sherlock software website.

I separate my bred petz from my crew entirely. I think of it as my hexed, and my bred crew. My hexed get my attention - I'm even giving away most of my hexed petz to downsize and give more attention to my favorites and newcomers. I'm partial to wildz, and they make me the happiest, and if I want the game to remain enjoyable (I feel immense guilt over not playing with everyone), then I simply give up the ones who I feel I can't take care of anymore.

Whoa, I didn't know this thread was still around! xD
I've come up with a solution that makes me happy, although I am a little guilty that I don't play with my other pets nearly as much now. I'm OCD, I hate clutter and chaos, and that stopped me from enjoying the game when I had more than 10 petz out. ._. Having like 10 pets in each folder and rotating them out didn't help, either.
So now I have one profile for my favorite catz (4 total) and favorite dogz (10 of these), hexed and bred alike. Then I have a profile for my PKC dogz/catz, and my wildz. <3
The rest went in "bred catz/dogz" and "hexed catz/dogz" folders. I take them out occasionally but they aren't played with every day like my favorites are. x3
