I swear to God anything petz related hates me
this time I'm having troubles with pw.
It's not opening any of my files.
First, I tried to open a v2 file (the Dummy) but it said it was corrupted, so I tried the 4b. It also said it was corrupted, so I redownloaded the whole filepack again from my email. Still corrupted apparently.
So then I tried a cat breed, and it says that it couldn't open it because petz is running. Petz wasn't running xD
So then I uninstalled PW and reinstalled it. Still won't work
and now I'm freaking out xD
Does anyone know what might be happening?

Has it been working? Or have you only recently started using it?
I had a problem similar when i got my lappy last year(W7) and it was because i didnt have it running as admin, if you right click on it and 'run as admin' see if it works. Then there is a section in properties that you can turn on always run as admin.
But I found it was still not running as admin when i opened it without right clicking, so i un-installed it and i made a folder in My Documents called Pet Program Files and i installed all my game files/hexing tools there, and since then i have not had a problem.
Dunno if that helps xD

It was working last night, but I'll try running as admin! I've been using it forever without a problem haha
Edit: Now the cat files will work, but my v2s won't, which is what I hex on all the time haha, crud. Thanks for helping me with the cat files though! Maybe I'll take up hexing on those files xD

Angora, try right clicking on PWS, going to Properties, Compatibility Settings, and tell it to Run as Admin there and also put it into Windows XP compatibility mode. That should fix it.

Is Pet Workshop selecting the correct .dll files? The petz path under File->Settings might be leading to the wrong folder, too. I remember that happened to me once, and selecting the proper file path solved the problem.
