Hey, i put up new adoptions every now an then, and most the time im left with a few dogz that havnt got a home and i havnt got room for them all.
Now i was wondering, what version of petz do people play? Thinking i play dogz 5 all the time, havnt played 4 in ages, i was thinking does dogz 5 adoptions dont go as quickly cause most people play dogz 4?

I have both 4 and 5 but 5 royally ffffff's up for me quite often so I stick to 4. Anyway, old habits and that eh? I find that most people use 3 or 4 because of the lack of backwards compatibility with 5 to be honest! I'd rather play/breed/hex using a programme that everyone can adopt from, rather than exclusivise (yes I know I just made that word up) to petz5 players only, since I have the option. c:

Yeah I use P4 since I hate P5 lol.
I'm all about backwards compatibility.

I use Petz 4. I like Petz 5 for the better graphics and the weather changes and things, but considering I have a widescreen laptop, the pets in the game look effed when I take them out. :/ So then I have to change the dimensions on my laptop and everything but the game look gross. So Petz 4 is just easier for me. Along with the backward compatible factor, and it has far less bugs in my opinion. I do hate missing out on some P5 adoptions though. :/ And some of the P5 downloads are amazing, but P5 just doesn't agree with my computer.

P5 for me, just for the capability to have litters. I often do hexing in P4 though.
Why don't you go ahead and do P4? That way everyone is happy.

Yeah I agree Petz 4 users can still adopt and Petz 5 users can still adopt as well.

I also like P5 for the better graphics and weather changes and stuff, but I mostly play in P4. I have a few petz in P5 that I play with here and there, but I like P4 better.
Plus the whole screen resolution thing that needs to change to play P5, and the "cloning" issue with litters in P5 drives me BONKERS!
Most of all, I hate not being able to adopt to people with P4 when I breed in P5.
P4 for the win!

I use petz 4. I used to use petz 5, but I really do love petz 4. n_n I'd use petz 4 if you're giving out adotions, so everyone can adopt. I find the PC is split pretty 50/50 when it comes to versions, heh.

I love Petz 5 and it was my main game until I joined the Petz community back in June but the community is slanted more towards P4 mainly because of compatibility with P3/P4/P5 so I have found myself using it more as I tend to keep my adoptions in the version that they came from. So yes I think there are going to be less people who are going to adopt from the P5 version which is a shame as it's so much easier and for me fun breeding with the larger litter sizes as you get such a variety in one litter but at the same time I want to breed something that everyone can have a chance at. If you are going to do a big breeding project with the intention of MPAing a lot of them I'd probably stick with P4 but there are a few of us who would still love to see any P5 offerings. Btw Charlie says hi.

I play P5 since I like that you can have 4 babies in a litter, and I like that all the toyz are in the carrying case so you don't have to go back and forth to the Toy Closet like in previous versions. I also like the new clothes and new play scenes in P5. I could take or leave the new breedz that came with it, but I downloaded 'fixed' or updated versions of them anyways that other people hexed.
I have started to hex in P4 now sometimes if I am entering a swap or putting them up for adoption though, as it gives more people the opportunity to be able to get something from me since P4 petz are compatible with P3 and P5.
