My Siamese had four kittens, three of which I didn't want, so I made all but the one I wanted grow up with the brainslider so I could get them out of the nursery and return them. I went back to the nursery, and the message saying that the kittens had left came up. I clicked Ok, and the newborn kitten came into view for a couple of seconds, but with no mother. Then a message saying Petz had stopped working, then it closed itself down. I tried to go back on, but a message came up saying: Sorry, Petz could not open because of this problem: Out of Memory. Trying to allocate (a very long number) bytes. This could be caused by lack of hard drive space. I deleted some Petz out of the Adopted Petz folder but nothing changed. I had four downloaded Catz breeds, and I had about 40-something petz. What can I do?? Please help!

I'm pretty sure that means a pet is corrupted so try to remove the kittens/mother out of the game one by one and see which one causes the problem.

You aged three kittens, and not the last... basically, your game is going "WTF IS GOING ON".
Kittens/puppies should be aged with the special button designed for such, otherwise they generally corrupt. Especially if you're trying to tell the game that three kittens have grown up, but the other one hasn't... so you're basically confusing it by telling it to let them out of the nursery, but keep them in at the same time. :/

^ Didn't notice that, so that is probably the issue and that probably corrupted the mother and/or the kittens if it's giving you the error. PetzA has a button that ages all babies to adults and then they can get out of the nursery and you can age them back down to 12 (anything lower then 12 and they do not show up in the game).

Unfortunately, it's very likely that the mother and kittens are gone. The computer isn't actually out of memory, it's just that the pet it's trying to load says it is enormous, and the computer can't handle it. In the future, make sure you use the Petza button that ages the youngsters to full adults to avoid this issue.

It's all fixed now. I made a copy of the mother and removed her from the Adopted Petz file.
