Well, my Bamboo Wacom tablet arrived today. Yay!
The downside is... I did everything the manual tells you to do, and it's clearly picking up my clicks (the light flashes)... but it doesn't 'draw' anything except with the tutorial?
Can anyone give me a hand on how to work this? I'm kinda lost. There's no start program for it in my "all programs" list, just settings and preferences... o.o

Did you install the driver? Even if you plug it in and Windows says it's installing it, you may need to go online and find the newest driver for it. Is it moving the mouse pointer around at all?

The mouse pointer moves perfectly when I'm on the tutorial screen... click off of that, and it stops, but the light is still flashing to say it's picking it up?!
By driver, do you mean the CD that came with it? I installed that.

You may have to go online for an updated one, as sometimes the hardware that comes with tablets or even graphic cards is outdated.

You need to plug your bamboo in, and go to the control panel. My computer is being an ass right now, so I can't get onto the control panel to check this is right etc. but I know it's along these lines. find where you can install new devices, like mouses(?) and Printers etc. Click on the mouse part, and click install new device. The bamboo wacom tablet should show up for you to add there. I'll double check this soon, but that's roughly how I did it.
