So I adopted a few pets that their files are so large I get popups when I start and close petz game. Is there a way I can make their files smaller.
I tried trimming the tree but it was already only 8th gens on the game.
Also at least one of them is unable to breed. Every time I try another pop-up comes up that says either one is too young. Which isn't the case both adults.
Not sure what to do to fix these issues, figured someone else has had this too.

What do the popups say? and for the breeding thing, is one of the petz neutered/spayed?

the pop-ups say can not save raust to disk. may need more space on your hard disk.
No neither of the petz are spayed though I notice if I make them adults with petza, that when I start the game again they are puppies again. I don't think their info. is saving.

If you make them adults with PetzA, you have to put them back into the carrying case then close the game. Otherwise the game won't recognize it.
But you can use PetzA to trim their files. If they are non-inbred, they will become inbred if you do this, however if they're already inbred, it doesn't matter.
Go into the game and under the PetzA tab, you go to a pet and pick the option "Trim file size" right under Neuter/Unneuter and it will drastically reduce the file size.

I have tried trimming their tree and I followed your suggestion of making them adults, putting away, and closing the game.
When I did this and reopened the game they were puppies again. Also when I closed the game it said both their file sizes were too large again.
never had this happen before.

Ooh is this Raust from me? I've still got the file, so would you like me to try trimming the file I've got and sending him to you again?

By the way, if it is an Aussie, there are only certain files you can use when breeding even though they are a lot of Aussie files that OW, so you may want to make sure that the file you have in game is the right one.
But 8 generations only show in the tree, although you may need to trim a few times to make sure it's trimmed. I usually do it two or three times as a precaution.

I've had the same pop-up a couple of times that says: Unable to breed. But I just figured I had too many petz at once in the game=], so I only placed the ones I wanted to breed with at that time in my adopted petz folder and everything worked fine^^.
