Ehh. I figured this would go here, since it's related to petz. If not, feel free to move it, mods! <3
Well, anyway, seeing as my laptop's screen was cracked and I've been wanting a new laptop anyway, I'm going to be going to get a new one tomorrow. The thing is, I just realized I can get a MacBook if I want, so... I was all excited until I realized something.
Can petz even run on a Mac? I heard that it can't, which has me very upset. I mean, I'd still be able to play it on my computer, but I'd like to have one on my laptop/macbook, too. Is there any way at all to have petz run on a MacBook?
Also, would you guys recommend me getting a regular laptop or MacBook, in general? What are some pros/cons...?
Thanks for the help!

I have yet to try petz on my mac...
But I think it needs bootcamp or something. so yes it can run, but not directly I guess.

You need a program that can run Windows games/programs. I think there's one called Parallels? I don't think they're necessarily cheap to buy either, but if you can afford a Macbook, money shouldn't be an issue, haha.

^ Actually, I can't afford to buy any more fancy programs now, so... that's a bummer. There aren't any free programs I can download that are similar?
Well, anyway, I bought it already... I'm super excited! n-n <3

Keep in mind that in order to run windows, you have to purchase a copy of Windows. Bootcamp is free, but all it is is a hard drive partitioner. You still have to install Windows alongside the Mac OS, and like I said, you have to purchase the installation CD.
I would not recommend WINE, as I tried it on a Linux machine and Petz would barely run. It's meant more for spreadsheet type programs, not action programs.
